Strangest, most outlandish and silliest conspiracy theories.

What are the strangest, most outlandish, silliest or most completely ridiculous conspiracy theories you have ever come across? They don't have to be about world events. They can be anything. Even fan theories about movies and television shows. Like the theory that Walter White's Blue Sky meth was the cause of The Walking Dead's zombie apocalypse.
(There was quite a bit of it in Merle's bag of drugs in ep. 1 or 2.)
I'll go ahead and predict a few that will be named, to potentially get them out of the way and keep.the conversation moving.
1) 9/11 was an inside job
2) The Official story of 9/11 is accurate
3) The Apollo Astronauts landed on the Moon
4) The Apollo Astronauts didn't land on the Moon
5) The Apollo Astronauts made a side trip to the Wisconsin State Fair, and upon reentering the capsule, discovered they'd become too fat to lift off again

There are certainly some strange ones floating around, but for me the most ridiculous by far is Nazis on the Moon. Sure, Nazi Germany was the pioneering nation in modern rocketry. But the pinnacle of their achievement was the V2. Yes, they had a more practical design or two, but they never had the chance to develop them. There is simply no way they secretly achieved space flight, lunar orbit, lunar landing or lunar colonization. I'd honestly find it easier to believe that they reestablished their regime in the Hollow Earth. At least that idea only requires me to ignore ONE massive flaw in the theory.

The most ridiculous conspiracy theory I've ever heard was right here on ATS several years back right after the Japanese earthquake/tsunami. The OP claimed that the disaster was actually an attack launched by dolphins, using ancient Atlantis technology. The reason for the attack was that the Dolphins were angry about the Japanese hunting whales.

This isnt the greatest one but one im sure very few know about. Adolph Luetgert was the real "Sausage King of Chicago" back in the late 1800s. Sorry Abe Froman...Adolph was the original.

Well rumor had it he murdered his wife and he was arrested and tried...however there were rumors she was still alive and sightings had been seen by her throughout the US. In the trial the jury was unable to reach a verdict and the case was dropped... a little back drop on this is rumor was his business was in dept and the prosecutor later became the Governor of Illinois. Which with Illinois politics...if you are on the wrong side of something well...you are #ed.

They had a second trial in which he was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison in which Mr Luetgert died in prison a year later.

It is known as one of the very first celebrity trial cases in which the press was all over the place and was one of the first cases to use forensic evidence.

There were many "sightings" of Mrs. Luetgert after the trial began. She was sighted in 12 different states but never found. I find it odd that a prominent businessman in Chicago...perhaps on the wrong side of politics is found guilty when there are witness statements stating they saw Mrs Luetgert in other locations....during the trial. Of course this could all be BS but I always wonder about back in those days how easy it would be to frame people and make people disappear when they didn't have the kind of dna testing and forensics like we do now. Also his factory was later converted in condominiums.

And for fun...the prosecutor was Charles Deneen who won the race for governor in 1924 when his competition mysteriously committed suicide in 1925. The wife of the competition blamed Deneen for the death.

search for waipoa forest on here and have a read.Theres evidence that a few races made it here long before the "indigenous" maori did....but since they are a "warrior" race they were all eaten and absorbed,so what evidence is found is swept under the carpet or hidden by them.

19 Saudis Hijacked 4 planes on Sept 11th 2001, flew 2 into each of the 2 World Trade Centre twin towers (causing 3 towers to collapse), one into the pentagon and one in a field. The government had no prior knowledge and a NORAD stand-down was due to confusion because a live training drill (about hijacked planes) was occurring at the same time the real event transpired.

The weirdest one I've heard was straight from the mouth of severely rattled schizophrenic.
I'll try to sum it up succinctly.

I keep telling myself that I shouldn't laugh but can't help it. That's so messed up. I've never seen anything like it.

My own theory is if it goes 10 years and it is still a conspiracy then it is most likely not true.

Also, you have the official story and 100 conspiracies...only one is correct no matter how you look at it, that means 100 are wrong and even if the official story is wrong so are 99 conspiracies too...think about it... hehe
