I live in South Texas.
In the last few years we have had an invasion of what some call Razzberry Ants, and others call Crazy Ants.
They're tiny things, they don't sting, and they seem to be eradicating the invasive fire ants.
Yesterday was my birthday. I got good and liquored up.
When I woke up in the morning, I felt tiny things crawling all over my body.
It wasn't really unpleasant, just weird enough to make me get out of bed and turn a light on.
My entire body and bed were covered in Crazy Ants.
I went and sat outside and gently brushed them off.
They are all gone now.
Maybe I should bathe more often.
Maybe I'm Ant Man and they were just wishing me a happy birthday.

Happy birthday. Was it a good one?
I think I read about the crazy ants. The article I read said that they like electronics. They've been known to fry them.

Thanks, and yep. They will take out central air units and water pumps.
Crazy suicidal bastards seem to love being electrocuted.

I'm glad you had a good one.
The article said that electromagnetic fields draw them. They've been known to fry computers. One guy had his break and took it apart, only to find dozens of them in it.

I wonder if the tequila amped up my electromagnetic field.
I was kind of strange. They seemed to be attracted to me.

I have no clue. Maybe they liked the smell.

Glad you had a good 'un!
We have those ants. They've been driving us nuts. Drove me to purchasing and using poison indoors. (Actually, it's only poison for ants but ....) I should buy stock in the Terro company!
And yes, they can fry parts of electronics. They did in a component of our a/c system and a mother board on our generator.
I've managed to keep them away from those two items by painting around the base of each system with cedar oil on a regular basis. I'm not sure if it is the oil or the cedar but it seems to work.

They were probably cleaning you from dingle berries and undercarriage goo. Happy Birthday Bed and Bathe!

Happy birthday. Those little suckers have popped up to the East of you, as well. They don't generally bite, but they will if properly motivated. Personally, I can easily avoid fire ants, and they aren't generally a threat to my expensive electronics, so please come get the stray Crazies and bring them back to Texas. (Man, that request could apply to a whole slew of things, couldn't it?)

I guess I'm clean now.
Change underwear and good for another week.

Use ants, save soap. ATS has spoken.
