Here it is !!

Obama and Biden apparently had lunch to discuss a Biden candidacy for President in 2016.

According to CNN, Obama has given Biden his "Blessing".

According to "sources" Obama said:

The President made clear he would not stand in his way or counsel him against a run

Now what will the other Democrat candidates do to get ready for some real "Campaigning" ?

And what will Hillary's "response" be ?

Things will get hotter than hot if Biden says "GO".

The mere "suggestion" is enough to send shockwaves in all directions !!

Obama gives Joe Biden 'blessing' for 2016 bid

Vice President Joe Biden received President Barack Obama's "blessing" to make a 2016 bid for the White House, according to a senior Democrat.

But that's if Biden chooses to run -- the decision is his. While he doesn't need the President's permission, of course, a potential presidential candidacy was among the topics of their lunch Monday at the White House. The President made clear he would not stand in his way or counsel him against a run, the senior Democrat said.

Biden = Dan Qualye.

What an unqualified buffoon he is, but I can see why Obama wants him to run. I can't think of anyone else that has a chance to be worse than Obama and potentially make Obama look better.

Not part of any party. I have been under the belief that the next president will be Clinton or Bush. Still do. But my question is is Biden got in and ran with warren, between that and Sanders is Hillary sunk. Based on my belief not happy either way but more a question for those likely involved with democrat primaries

There are worse choices.

Biden (though he sticks his foot in his mouth often) is or was quite competent and had an above average grasp of foreign policy.

If he hasn't conformed to the current administration's activist agenda driven foolishness, he will do OK.

YES!

We need a bumbling buffoon in the mix to really make it interesting.

Where's the guy from the movie brewsters millions willing to spend a ton of cash to campaign for none of the above. I'm talking on both sides.

Aside from Sanders, the D pool is murky enough for Biden to take the plunge, perhaps sans trunks:

Rumors as to his penchant for skinny-dipping makes me chuckle and gives me the willies at the same time. Picture Joe holding meetings as POTUS in a hot tub with the likes of Chancellor Merkel, Sommaruga, and Park Geun-hye discussing world events. Personally, I don't think Biden is the answer the D's are looking for on their ticket.

It still amazes me that the Dems have gone full Communist with Bernie. They don't even hide it anymore.

Oh, boy. Creepy Joe is thinking of running. I can imagine him on the campaign trail, sniffing women's hair and making them uncomfortable.

I don't understand the shock wave. I thought Biden running was a foregone conclusion. It will be good to have another solid contender to hear the platforms of. The DNC doesn't have the army of candidates like the GOP does so any addition will be helpful for a rounded set of debates.

A Biden/warren ticket would be better than anything coming from the Republican clown camp.

I still think O'malley is the dark horse in the Democratic race

This might explain that exchange between
Obama and Bill on the Golf Course, and "the look"
on Bills face.

No shortage of entertainment in this election then.

The Republicans don't hide the fact that they have gone full blown retard...so why would Democrats hide the fact they've gone full blown Socialist?

Don't you know. . . . . you never go full retard!

I agree that both dems and republicans have gone socialist and retard.

Maybe to give many people who view politicians as worthless piles something better than retards or socialist and call it a choice? Maybe for those who buy the illusion.

Neat, there's someone here besides me that thinks he can actually be a good candidate.

The buffoon Biden has been perpetrated by the media. Biden is a serious guy with a wide range of support in Washington.

If you look at Joe Biden's record, he's one of the most accomplished politicians in Washington, with a positive record for DECADES.

He has a long record of working with people on both sides of the aisle to pass big laws, and would have support from both sides if he runs for President. He would be a centrist President that doesn't have to rely on rhetoric, and would be a formidable opponent for Hillary. She has good reason to be worried if he runs.

Biden is most definitely NOT a Dan Quayle either. He has worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the Obama Administration and is very, very widely respected on Capitol Hill, among politicians of all political leanings.
