When someone uses the pension fund to prop up the share market, it seems an act of desperation.

It seems to me like they have confidence in the market swinging back.

It won't surprise me if the Dow opens up a hundred or so points tomorrow and it's a great day for the stocks! The markets seem to be based on a reality that is manufactured by the central banks and wall street.

and well, the bag of tricks is not empty....
they still have your savings accounts to raid, and if that ain't enough, there's your checking accounts... if that isn't enough, they can always go door to door for you silver and gold....

China has alot of US debt that is can sell off which is increasing in value as the dollar does. They seem to be in a win/win situation as long as there's someone stupid enough to buy it. They'll just dump their treasury bonds and buy gold, land, and other hard assets that have real value.

The Asian market is doing terrible right now so I don't think the Dow is going to start out great. I agree with the others; we're going to have another horrible day.

I am curious to see if Apple tumbles again, too. They were the biggest tech loser Friday. They lost 1.4 billion.

Oil is dropping quickly. It is now down to $38.76 a barrel. (And now $38.67)

The DOW is now set to open down 3.78% or -623 points. Nikkei ended down 4.61% and Hang Seng down 5.17%.

FTSE England and DAX are open and currently down 4.12% and 4.41 respectively.

Oil is down to $39 a barrel and falling.

Oops...in the time it took to write that the DOW future dropped to 4.07 or -671 points...

This is going to be ugly.

Oops again... down 4.23, -696 points.

I'm waiting for NYSE to open, though it's a big chaos... everything is falling down.... basically it can get to the point of free-fall later this week.

With so much panic, I can guess, people are going to do something stupid...
& then, the things are going to get nasty...

DOW futures drop below 600
Oil at 38.67 and falling.

It's been a while since I've seen this much red in the stock markets. I think the last time was when I had a paper cut on my finger and was reading the paper. Normally there is at least one area or nation that is doing well. This is all over the place all dropping at about all the same rate.

If I'm doing my math right if we keep dropping at this rate with in 18 days we'll see at least one nation market totally tank. Who know we might pull out of this dive, but I don't see that happening if it keep on going like this for the rest of the week.
