So what do they call it when conservatives fight to take my hard earned money and redistribute it throughout the military industrial complex?

Why don't you ask Conservatives? They are sick in a different way.

700 billion dollars a year for defense, more than the next ten biggest spending countries in the world combined. Paranoid much?

OK

What has that to do with the theme of the interview of the CPUSA Chairman who is acknowledging common (dreams) ties with the American Democrat Party?

I'm a registered Democrat and I'm not frightened of being called a Communist.

I know it's ridiculous. For the most part.

I'd wager no one will remember this next week, much less, in November 2016.

ETA: But, if anyone is interested here's a link the Communist Party USA's website: Home - CPUSA

Founded in 1919, the Communist Party USA has championed the struggles for democracy, labor rights, women’s equality, racial justice and peace for ninety years.

Hmmm ... well, right there are some similarities with the Democrats ...

No problem with any of that, personally.

I find that to be a silly bet. How about this bet: we wouldn't be talking about sending 100 billion dollars to a dictatorship that funds terrorists for a proxy war, holds American hostages, and kills innocent homosexuals.

It's their own damn money that has been held from them, what are you going on about?

But it's ok when you do, gotcha!

Democrats are traditional supporters of the Military/Industrial Complex.

WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, The Middle East just to name a few.

And of course, Obama is actively bombing away like crazy as we speak.

No?

Will do.

What does this "revelation" mean to you, particularly?

How do you see it affecting the Presidential Elections?

And although I think it rather unlikely ... what if you and the rest of the Right find out that America is ready for a Socialist or even a Communist?

I can't wait, honestly.

I was answering a question that may connect Democrats to Communists.

Move on.

I'm sorry that you don't like the fact that i'm pointing out that your version of politics is as looney tunes as the communist left. And you can quit telling me how to post thank you very much.

Don't buy into. The illusion any political party is for anything but power and self enrichment.

As an outsider looking in if the country was attempted to be thrown into communism/socialism that might very well be a spark that kicks off a real fight

At that point who knows my guess would be what normally happens when armed people and unarmed people have confrontation. The x factor would be how the military responded and how well it could maintain ranks.

What if we have had one in office for the last 7 years and we are
all ready to kick it out?

We also know that all the Democrats have left to offer are openly progressive Socialists.

Somebody is calling that "Socialism" on another thread.

I call it a variant of Authoritarianism.

I call it one of the very few and specific things the Federal government is specifically empowered to do by the Constitution - provide for the common defense.

Asking direct questions at me is futile as you know.

But this "revelation" as it's called could cause panic in the Democrat ranks that don't support full blown Communism or at least what ever the CPUSA stands for.

I don't know what havoc would emerge if a "Socialist" or "Communist" gets elected President without a full blown change in Congress and the States.

lolz

This should be an amusing thread.

Ya, When the leader of the Communist Party in the US says communism and socialism are interchangeable, that puts that baby to rest for all eternity.

It is a non arguable point from here on out.

Exactly. And the Prison Industrial Complex as well.

Look at Hillary, huge support coming from the Prison Industry.
And Biden, he is guilty as well with his infamous "Crime Bill".

It is honorable to reach into your own pocket and give to the poor; it is despicable to reach into someone else's pocket. Unfortunately most Americans have become morally bankrupt (just look at the millions of child sacrifices).
