A recent Fox News Radio show hosted by Fox "contributor" Alan Colmes had a very interesting guest.

John Bachtell is the Communist Party USA Chairman and he had a few things to say.

He mentions things in common with the American Democrat Party and talks about all the problems of Capitalism, Oligarchy, unemployment, the .1%, and other social/economic points.

The interview is on videos in 2 parts.

Too much for me to make a broad general comment.

I will make some comments on pinpoint references later in the thread.

Alan Colmes is known as a Democrat/Obama supporter on the FoxNews TV shows.

here's part of the quotes...

Colmes: “Well, you’ve talked about working in the two party system. So you support Democrats for the most part? Are you supporting Bernie Sanders let’s say in this election?”

Bachtell: “Ah well, Yea we’re apart of what I kind of call the Progressive, pro-labor wing of the Democratic Party. I mean it’s no secret and we’re apart of a very broad movement of organizations: labor movements, civil rights movements, other movements, women’s movement, what not, that find their home in the Democratic Party.

here's an opening comment from the Youtube poster:

Alan Colmes Talks to John Bachtell: Alan talks to National Chair of Communist Party USA John Bachtell about American politics: In 1919, the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) was created in Chicago as a 5th Column by the U.S.S.R. in order to form “fighting organizations for seizing control of the state, for the overthrow of government and the establishment of the workers’ dictatorship.” With the eventual collapse of Communist Russia the CPUSA needed to form new alliances with groups also hell bent on destroying the United States from within. Luckily for them, they found the Democratic Party.

During an interview with Fox News contributor Alan Colmes,CPUSA National Chariman John Bachtell stated that not only does he believe that Socialism and Communism are basically interchangeable (Communism being more of the utopian form of Socialism), but that he believes the CPUSA is the Progressive, Pro-Labor Wing of the Democratic Party:

The videos are in 2 parts:

Communist Party USA Chairman: We Are The Progressive, Pro-Labor Wing Of The Democrat Party - Part 1

Communist Party USA Chairman: We Are The Progressive, Pro-Labor Wing Of The Democrat Party - Part 2

here's Part 1.....

Assuming this is *really* John Bachtell,

Is any of this accurate?

Does this help or hurt the American Democrat Party?

This should be fun to watch.

I am sure that all the socialists here will quickly distance themselves since the prevailing opinion here is that...

"communism is not socialism".

Clearly, he must be lying.

Many liberals have been brain-washed to believe they are entitled to the money of hard working Americans and think it is their right to 're-distribute' it to themselves. This is a sickness based on a failed philosophy of Socialism which naturally leads to the fascist brand of socialism known as Communism.

In its simplest terms; Socialism is government sanctioned stealing.

So what do they call it when conservatives fight to take my hard earned money and redistribute it throughout the military industrial complex?

Somebody is calling that "Socialism" on another thread.

I call it a variant of Authoritarianism.

Democrats are traditional supporters of the Military/Industrial Complex.

WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, The Middle East just to name a few.

And of course, Obama is actively bombing away like crazy as we speak.

No?

Here's an interesting historical tie to the USSR.

He said that they have relations with a lot of groups that are on the left of the democratic party- he didn't say that they were actually part of the party.

And yes there is a difference between socialism and communism, a big one. Anyone who's been to Europe knows it's much better than places like Cuba and the old soviet union.

I'm not a Dem so I don't support those policies either, but I bet you if we had a Republican president right now we would be at war with Iran...and ISIS...and Syria....and god knows who else.

I find that to be a silly bet. How about this bet: we wouldn't be talking about sending 100 billion dollars to a dictatorship that funds terrorists for a proxy war, holds American hostages, and kills innocent homosexuals.

What would you say if you suddenly had a national stage (on Fox) and were the Chairman of a tiny fringe party that can't afford to promote itself?

What would you say that would be GUARANTEED to be repeated breathlessly through every right-winger blog, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook page?

I congratulate Mr. Bachtell for using the right-stream media to his advantage and that of the American Communists.

Free Advertising like they've never even DREAMED of ...

LOL.

700 billion dollars a year for defense, more than the next ten biggest spending countries in the world combined. Paranoid much?

It's brilliant isn't it.

But what about Democrats that might take offense?

Will it hurt or help the Democrat Candidate for President is the question.
