Like something straight out of a super-spy novel.

Apparently the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (HaHa) has not been up front and timely with notification to local authorities about illegal immigrant criminal releases into the general public.

The complaint is coming from Arizona law enforcement officials that say some recent "notifications" are two years late !!

Well no wonder the crime rates seem a little high for illegal immigrants.

I wonder WHY government flop-failures like this keep happening?

What is the agenda?

DHS Kept Secret the Release Of Violent Criminal Illegal Immigrants

Obama administration officials only began notifying local law enforcement officials of the release of violent criminal illegal immigrants within the last two weeks, according to Arizona law enforcement officials, who say they have for years been kept in the dark about the release of illegal immigrants back into local towns.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had been keeping secret its release of illegal immigrants with violent criminal records from local law enforcement for at least two years, denying for a time that this was taking place, law enforcement officials disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon.

The public disclosure of this practice, in which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) frees criminal illegal immigrants back into U.S. communities, came to light earlier this week, when Arizona law enforcement was made aware that three illegal aliens with violent criminal records had been released back onto the streets.

Another Big Failure

I am not at all surprised. Most don't care unless one of their family members becomes a victim of one of these criminals. I bet they'd care then!

we are becoming blind to the word "illegal"
we seem to see it as "legal" now for some reason.
skirt the laws..illegal means nothing anymore.

The article in the OP references another article which says this:

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under current law can no longer legally hold the three individuals,” ICE press secretary Gillian Christensen said. “To further promote public safety and transparency, ICE notified local law enforcement agencies of the release of the individuals.”

“To be clear, the backgrounds of the individuals in question would generally make them enforcement priorities for ICE,” Christensen continued. “However, ICE has no legal basis for continuing to hold these individuals.”

Maricopa? The jurisdiction of this guy?

Not sure that this not altogether deliberate.

Back when the kids were being trained in South America, remeber that? jimstone reckoned that this was deliberate so as spread diseaise and commit crime in the nighbourhoolds they settled into. The purpose being to cause as much discontent and illness among the US populations in which they selttled so as to provoke insurection.

I don't think the OP was claiming that no one was told, only that the disclosure was criminally slow.

After all being told 2 years later is still being told as the quote you pulled said.

After reading both articles it appears that there wasn't a system in place for notifying officials of their release until recently. Now there is a system in place and notifications are immediate.

Even so, you would think something like that ought to be in place BEFORE you put violent people on the street.

Or if they're violent, you send them home if you can't tell the locals, "Hey, we just dropped off a guy wanted for assault on your streets. Just, you know, FYI ..."

I'm mostly concerned that this country has an organization called the Department of Homeland Security...

It is anything but a provider of security and their whole mission set is creepy.

That said, I am not surprised at all by this. Par for the course for an organization built to enrich a few corporations.

Of course they kept releasing illegal alien criminals secret, just think of the uproar if they immediately notified the municipalities affected.
