A light in the sky?

There you are, outside on a nice day or night, looking up at the sky, and you see a light or a group of lights that seems not to be behaving as you think planes, meteors or other known object do. You're not sure what it is. Yes, it's a UFO, but, IT'S PROBABLY NOT AN ALIEN CRAFT.

Why do I say this? Simple. Why would a craft from another world, have lights on the outside of a ship to make it easy to spot? Most writings agree that if there are alien craft up there, they are trying not to be seen. So why would they have the lights on?

the light is supposed to be the by-product of the antygravity engine so the whole object appears to be glowing not the lights like on an airplane.

Physcist Paul R. Brown postulates that some of the lights seen on or about EBE craft is a result of the craft's propulsion. Now all blinky-blinkies.... It does seem counter productive to be covered in flashing lights if you don't want to be seen.

Anti gravity engine eh? I'd like to see how this guy came up with this, seeing as nobody has been able to make an anti gravity engine.

Well, no one here on Earth maybe.

Not so much anti-gravity as Electro magnetic repulsion. The field generated is powerful enough to negate the gravitic hold of a given body- Earth for example. (In theory.)

well it depends.....
in a highly-populated area such as Manhatten or Chicago, a brightly-falshing object wouldn't be really noticed by anyone. But in a country side area, it'd be as easy to see as a bright red ball in a grey needle stack.
