Well said, eh?

Why don't you explain what you think greencmp meant?

We'll wait.

Define what you mean by "Marxism" in this instance.

You use the word in so many different contexts.

All forms require what you described.

Is that really that hard for you to answer?

A number of sources disagree with the old saw that "universities are leftist."

Particularly students:

I'm curious why you'd cite an old document as a valid source.

Here you go.

I wonder why you'd link a source and say nothing about it.

What do you find of significant difference in the several decades between your link and mine ...

Oh wait, it was three years.

Go ahead though. Demonstrate that University Students are leftists or far leftists from your source.

Nope.

Your words.

What is Marxism? One or two sentences will do.

I'm just helping you out. There are only three reasons why someone would do that: deception, laziness or ignorance. I'm hoping its the latter.

So your source says nothing to prove that University Students are leftists?

Funny, that's same thing that the same survey found three years earlier.

Thanks for the updated confirmation of my claim.

PS: You can snipe pointlessly and I'll be glad to join in as I find your general attempts to appear as "an intellectual" to be ... weak at best ... and the Mud Pit is the forum for silly personal commentary.

However, if you'd like to actually use something from your link as evidence of the point under discussion, rather than pure BS comments about me, I'll be glad to listen.

What about the 2015 survey was markedly different from the 2012 survey conducted with the same methods on the same population that you find significant to the question of "University Students are Leftist."?

I wonder what college students think of these scenarios...

especially the ones studying political "science".

Well what if the country accepts leftist policies with no force needed?

Or reject the policies of the right and it has to resort to force to enforce?

The guy is welcome to his opinion, but would disagree that Fascism is of the left.
The left isn't die hard nationalist like it would take for Fascism.

Man if only we could have stayed within this self appointed founders goal of the conservatives of 2011!

Did this guy take a poll of the founding fathers to figure that out?

The left isn't "die hard nationalist" because the country right now isn't the way they want it.

You went off on a tirade about cherry-picking, skimming and misrepresentation of facts, and something else about mouth-breathers. I just figured you'd like to live up to your own standards. I suppose not.

However, if you'd like to actually use something from your link as evidence of the point under discussion, rather than pure BS comments about me, I'll be glad to listen.

You're the one that posted it, and used it as "evidence". I'm only correcting your choice of said evidence, which was a poor one.

They would probably say they look like made up charts.
Charts reflecting personal opinion and not fact.

You have never sourced the second one, even after many requests and we know the first one is.

Enough about me.

How about your standards?

What was the point of posting the study?

Did you quote from it to speak to any element of the discussion?

Did you use any thing from it to prove any comment made here about "University Students are leftists?"

Nope, you thought you were being clever, when all you did was prove my point.

Actually take a moment and read the document you linked.

You'll find that it clearly states that American college students are Democrats, Republicans and moderates.

Some are even Libertarian.

Certainly they all aren't "far left" which is what the matter regarded.

Perhaps you had a few moments of smug congratulations for yourself on your efforts though ... that seems like a rather dry and tasteless reward.

But ... bravo.

*clap*

Anytime someone tells a truth
that the left doesn't like,
suddenly the person is attacked
and viciously attacked
as a racist, or anti-woman, or
a homophobe, or a bigot.

And people can't seem to take criticism anymore without calling the whambulance and screaming PC police brutality.

In my travels, I've found the loudest whiners to be of the PC crowd.

What's the source of your graphics? Do you think that perhaps they might be a bit ... stilted in the favor of "the right is about freedom"?

Much like the original article? More than a little one sided?

Also, please, what is Marxism, in your own words, perhaps a couple of sentences?

I'm really interested to know what you think! You say so much about it, you must have an idea!

Political correctness is not a universal function of any particular group.

Also there has been a sharp increase in mental health issues with the younger generations that can be at least partially linked to the current PC environment via things like micro aggressions which isn't good for anyone.

Trigger warning: Universities are now pumping out this sort of archetype like a factory.

Which was why I brought it up in the first place. This isn't speculation, this is fact. This is the norm, and the unfortunate reality of that is most college students/professors are on the left side politically. I dare say the far left side, and they are the future of America and have a big influence on society already.

Which is why I said earlier that over the last decade or so I have become increasingly scared of what the left has been morphing into.

Emphasis mine so that the facts won't be missed again.

So, lazy, lying or ignorant ... which are you?
