Are you talking about political dissidents?

And BTW:

So did Margret Sanger

This is the kind of thing we would expect from you. Playing the emotional aspect. What does she have to do with the government? I suppose you are running out of ammo in this debate.

Ethnic Cleansing in the USSR, 1937-1949

"The Stalin regime deported these national groups in their entirety based solely upon their ethnicity to areas whose living conditions inevitably lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths." Pohl further states: "between the years of 1941 to 1948, the Stalin regime deported 3,266,340 people from their homes to special settlements in the interior of the USSR. More than two thirds of these people were members of national groups deported in their entirety on the basis of their ethnicity...Between 1941 and 1950, more than 377,554 exiles perished in special settlements. More than one out of every ten people deported to special settlements died during their confinement. Stalin's deportation of national groups was one of the worst crimes against humanity perpetrated in the 20th century."

No small wonder the USSR took part in the "denazification" programs. The hiiden ones and the known ones.

Even if it was true that would make that move right wing.

Of course wiki does that.

They are the king of "sources".

But here's some they haven't gotten around to yet...

List of ethnic cleansings

Plenty of USSR etc. All Authoritarian and mostly "Left Wing".

Yes we know that. Why keep repeating what others have been harping over and over in those PP threads?

No problem. Just wondered why he even brought her up at all. She has nothing to do with fascism, or far left for that matter.

True but we are talking about government and fascism. It places her in the far right.

[edit] wait I'd like you to provide me some links for that so that I can read and study more.

She was a socialist.

I understand. It doesn't matter what they call themselves as. The action speaks louder.

They tend to include disregard or disdain for egalitarianism, if not overt support for social inequality and social hierarchy, elements of social conservatism and opposition to most forms of liberalism and socialism.

That's a part of the definition of far right wing ideology.

I guess you can say that she is both left and right. She did support women's rights and the right to their bodies.

The minimum sentencing laws happened long after the idea of equal justice was sold.

I believe that those were sold as dissuasion but the plan all along may have been to fill those prisons.

The idea that I am talking about is the handing over of authority to the government so that they may punish you accordingly, while at the same time, anyone thinking of carrying out an act of vigilante justice is also under the threat of force.

Now I am not saying that that is necesarily a good thing or that it is efficient but I do believe that that is the idea behind that type of system.

I know and you are right that they were sold as legitimate dissuasion.

Your objections are hardly unreasonable requirements, I would say that I have only focused on the judicial process post-apprehension and intact.

I wouldn't necessarily expect communities to stand for it and I expect it would be handled but, perhaps not quickly enough.

It couldn't be any more difficult than removing an offending LEO is currently.
