but in practice the "state" is always administered for "the greater good" by a bunch of so-called elites.

That is EXACTLY what we have from the "uber-rich" oligarchs. CAPITALISM. The super-mega-rich decide who should eat, and who should not.

Gah. You know this. You are not an idiot, or a newbie. You are just, simply, "wrong", and spewing your propaganda.

It is not a conscious decision when the state compels it as all socialist states do.

Do they actually do this or are you just accepting what Oceania says about Eurasia?

And it has been explained many times, in many places on this very forum, by many people (not just me since I know what you think of me) that what we have is NOT capitalism, not anymore. At best it's a cronyist system, but it isn't free market capitalism and hasn't been for over 100 years. Heck, even left wing people here will tell you that.

Now we are discussing fascism and where it fits on the political axis and which political axis

Adults can make any contract they want to. Marriage is a contract.

Religion is between you and the greatest possible reality. Anything involving more than one person is voluntary. Except for crime. Criminals have incurred a debt to their victims that must be repaid. No prison, just repayment.

According to Anarcho-Capitalism.

You are avoiding the question.

Is it a Left or Right issue?

Its a left issue because of the government involvement.

Funny. You remind me more of a professor I had in college. Poor guy was at the onset of Alzheimer's. He basically gave the same lecture every day but didn't really remember how words and phrases fit together anymore. He was slightly interesting for a while because of the outlandish crap he'd come out with. Then you realized the poor guy just wasn't in his right mind anymore and it was just sad.

Greencmp, your style reminds me more of a little yippy chihuahua we had once. He really liked to hide under the sofa and bark. Well, yip, actually.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.....whoa....

Wasn't it you who in a recent "rant" complained that other members seem to think they "know" people??? That they take things personally when it's not intended????

Wow.

Fail.
Foul.

It would seem that everything is a left issue.

What you consider right doesn't exist.

That's a shame.
Education really helps people who buy into propaganda to NOT BUY INTO IT anymore. But, I understand if your family wasn't able to pay for it.

Figures. The rigged system makes SURE that some people don't get to go to college, and then spends lots of money to reinforce the crap that those poor uneducated souls WHO DON't HAVE AN EDUCATION think. The fact that you have BEEN UNDEREDUCATED and then fallen for that propaganda is ridiculous.

The fact that you genuinely think that any political system can be analyzed on a one-dimensional scale confirms everything I've suspected about you.

Your ideas about politics are either ignorant or stupid. I don't care which you pick.

I argue the exact opposite is true.

Self-education is the only education because it never stops.

The right is as real as your computer, which was made by capitalism.

The Left is in control, more or less.

Repeating for those needing,

All political solutions are Left.

The Right doesn't use politics, except in self defense, as in a Veto of the Left.

Only if you think of China as capitalist. China is a state that runs itself similar to one monster, nationalized corporation. China is about as close to fascist in modern times as I think we have.

In the truest sense of a free market, no. China is not capitalist. In order to do business in China, you have to hand over business secrets and the you are subject to business rules that can change with the wind and put you out of business just that quickly as it profits the state, you competitor.

Now does anyone want to argue that CHina is a bastion of human rights and freedoms?
