Your mistake is in thinking that left wingers are definitely collectivists and that right wingers can't ever be. Also you are mistaken that collectivism is always authoritarian.

There are different factions of the Libertarian Party
This is the one I find particularly oxymoronic

Libertarian socialism (sometimes called social anarchism,[110][111] left-libertarianism[112][113] and socialist libertarianism[114]) is a group of political philosophies within the socialist movement that reject the view of socialism as state ownership or command of the means of production[115] within a more general criticism of the state form itself[116][117] as well as of wage labour relationships within the workplace.[118] Instead it emphasizes workers' self-management of the workplace[119] and decentralized structures of political government[120] asserting that a society based on freedom and equality can be achieved through abolishing authoritarian institutions that control certain means of production and subordinate the majority to an owning class or political and economic elite.[121] Libertarian socialists generally place their hopes in decentralized means of direct democracy and federal or confederal associations[122] such as libertarian municipalism, citizens' assemblies, trade unions, and workers' councils.[123] All of this is generally done within a general call for libertarian and voluntary human relationships[124] through the identification, criticism, and practical dismantling of illegitimate authority in all aspects of life.[125][126][127][128][129][130]

But Green Libertarianism also takes the cake

If you notice, I'm no longer arguing with you, I'm ridiculing you for the clueless numbskull you seem intent on being.

All you are doing is implying that I am of a particular stereotype which you perceive to apply to anyone of a more or less conservative mode, and of which you are not only sadly mistaken but down right rude and completely lacking in decorum.
When unable to win a debate with genuine knowledge and education, just revert to good old alinskyite ridicule and mud slinging. Maybe that's why it's called the Mud Pit.

It isn't my scale.

I've seen some charts but have never looked into how accurate they are.

One thing I do know is that Fascism is right of center. How far, I couldn't say.

You find the original Libertarianism to be an oxymoron?

No "charts", but you form conclusions anyway.

Confusing, but I understand.

Do you have any rebuttals to the OP article?

Yeah... starting back a few pages. But to sum it up, your chart's bad and you should feel bad.

Don't know what you mean.

My conclusion isn't based on a chart so, charts or no "charts" makes no difference.

Recap:

Daskakik: The existance of bigger governments is the result of Libertarian failures.

ThirdEyeofHorus: What, because laissez faire didn't take care of all the people cradle to grave????

Daskakik: No, because it doesn't exist.

ThirdEyeofHorus: Progressives and monopolistic corporations have seen to it

Daskakik: How is that not failing?

Who said that was the "original" libertarian ideal? I thought classical was? But perhaps you thought the founding were socialist? I find socialism and the concept of liberty to be conflicting and ambiguous by the nature that socialist systems are collective and require the state to enforce. Marx knew it and so did Lenin and Stalin Mussolini and every other totalitarian despot.

As said, anti-intellectual ... and its corollary, anti-science.

You prove the point perfectly.

"Get 'er dun! Wooo! Jesus' gonna come back before the world ends and take us all away!"

One can only hope. Pray even.

On the other hand...

Intellectually masturbating while running for all you're worth on a proverbial socio-philosophical hamster wheel doesn't add much credibility to the other side of the argument either. Not that watching you indulge in that hasn't been entertaining, but said entertainment value is running a strong competition for precedence with God I Wish He Would Shut Up Now. I mean, I get wading in to take swipes at people, but there does come a point where you're just a jerk being a jerk for the sake of jerkiness.

Put another way, in the Get' er Done vernacular (which is the native language where I am from):

Boy, you are gettin' on my LAST nerve.

Derail and personal attack over.

(But for the love of Pete, go take a nap or get a glass of wine or... something).
