I once heard the perfect plan for choosing the president.

Take a monkey up to 24 thousand feet and strap a parachute to his back.

Have him sky dive to do the ground where the landing pad is surrounded by POTUS candidates. Spin him in a circle 4 times and however's hand he touches first gets to be President.

So far they only have like 3 choices.

The establishment is running from Hillary because of her scandals and she'd make a poor President anyway as everybody who has worked with her internationally as Secretary of State pretty much hated her.

Bernie is currently the only viable candidate, support for the DNC or not. They are certainly not going to throw an election to the GOP over that.

We may have better luck doing that really! Get the stupid electoral votes out of the equation!

Groot-Tucker ballot will be out shortly....They are hitting the road to speak to crowds and debate soon!

If you honestly believe the electoral votes will vote for Bernie you guys are all sadly mistaken....

It will be Bush or Clinton, mark my words! Saying that made me puke in my mouth as well

I don't think you're right.

I think the EC will vote for which ever candidate will win the general.

I know it's not been like that in the past, but historically the DNC have had a much wider field of candidates at this point I'm pretty sure.

For some reason it's very slim this cycle and I doubt they are willing to put all their eggs in another Clinton basket. And besides, this whole email thing is going to take a lot away from her campaign.

I won't be surprised if they start to schedule things in direct conflict with her campaign just for fun.

What's even crazier is how intertwinded those two families are so does it really make a difference? Not that it does at the top levels anyway but that's some real inbreeding/ dynasty type stuff going on their.

I wish you were right, but I am a FIRM believer the POTUS has already been selected behind closed doors and no matter the outcome of us peons voting, their candidate is already in the White House....

Look to the past.....Start with Bush and Al Gore.....Then tell me you actually believe this?

The falacy is that the monkey would only be able to choose from candidates pre-selected by the media and government concerns.

I say use a dart and a phonebook.

Yeah and start by filling up our current government positions this way....All names thrown into a hat once dart throwing is done...Winner drawn is president...

Wait, this actually reminds me a little of idiocracy....Oh well, Luke Wilson will come along eventually right??

Look I'm the first one to admit that I also believe what you said...

Normally.

BUT.

And this is a huge BUT, depending on the next few months, that could all change.

Theoretically, they could run John Kerry if they had to.

He's from the Obama cabinet, of which Hillary is also a part of.

Biden would be such a joke that Kerry would naturally be the better pick.

But then again, Biden might appeal more to cross voters from the right, while Kerry might not.

They could run a Biden/Kerry ticket, or .. even a Hillary/Kerry ticket, or a Hillary/Biden ticket, if you can be VP twice, I'm not sure.

I understand the threat Bernie represents to the right. There tactic of comparing him with Ron Paul isn't gonna fly. Paul never had any support from the establishment RNC, no support from the banks no support from unions or no support from industry or corporations.

Sanders does have support from the unions and this group is apart of the dnc establishment. The only common part of Paul and Sanders is they both did/do have massive online support, but Paul never drew in huge crowds in real life like Sanders is, and Sanders is the Only candidate that is drawing huge crowds to this point.

I also don't think the Sanders campaign has used much of the donations he has received, and the large amount of volunteers he has drawn to his campaign will start to see a boost added to his current momentum when his campaign gets into full swing.

Any other possible dem candidate could be Gore and Biden, but this might be Bernies time to shine. The country needs to change the statue quo is not what is needed right now, we are witnessing a true grass roots movement that has popular appeal to a majority of voters. Ill take a democrat socialist over our current crony capitalism/fascism we have today and I think the American people will agree.

Maybe we can get a corporation to run for president.

Maybe Coca Cola or perhaps Disney could run for president.

Terra Tech would be my choice…

LINK

SUMMATION:
If corporations are people, as the Supreme Court has declared, can they run for President or perhaps Senator?
The Answer is: YES

Why would they need to have the responsibility? They already own whatever they want, get whatever they want, lobby to whoever they want, get bailed out if they fail and much much more....

Why the burden of POTUS as well....?

I only compared bernie to Ron Paul because they are the type that gets support from the more informed voters, But can't get the mainstream voters. Or like you say, Internet supporters.
That's about all they have in common.

I just don't see the dems supporting a guy that would be 75 at election time. Way to risky.

Or maybe like they did in Salem when deciding if someone is a witch or not.
If they drown, they could be the president. If they float back up, sorry, no president.
