Thanks George W Bush for going after Iraq while letting North Korea get real WMD,s.

On 12 February 2013, North Korean state media announced it had conducted an underground nuclear test, its third in seven years

Hmmmmm.....Let me see, who was the President most of that time? Clinton? No, no it wasn't him.....Maybe Bush? No......wasn't him either. Who is that guy? Right on the tip of my tongue...It's the same one who just handed Iran a ridiculous nuclear deal...........It'll come to me.

The day that the fat cats decide it will be profitable and an advantage to them will be the day something comes of it. Until then nothing is likely to happen.

At least with a disgusting little dictator to their north and not running their government the south won't have to wonder if the catalyst is a false flag attack or a real one.

just a little flippant about the millions of innocents .

And ignorant of the fact one nuke would end south Korea.

We aren't talking about A bombs and leveling a city.

A nuke is thousands of times more powerful.

Think firecracker vs a 1 lbs block of C4.

That is a pretty fair comparison.

We are talking North Korean Nukes mate, I would go with A bomb if it worked at all.

well are they? after all they could have bought a few from soviet russia, bought the parts from china and built them, they have the budget for it. if dumbing it down for your own benefit helps you sleep at night then i wont piss on your security blanket.

The problem is North Korean threats on nuclear weapons use. I truly believe little kimmy will use them on the south.

Thats ridiculous. They want to unite their country, not burn it. More accurately, drive out the foreign army occupying their Peninsula.

Nukes are for protection, like any other nuclear power.

hmmmm

Dont want to strain your delicate little partisan brain here.....but NK FIRST test was 2006. GEORGE W BUSH term!

It was that very first test the world should have gone in.

In matters little when the majority of tests took place, its the FIRST test that matted! As its the time after that first test North Korea would have still been building its first bombs and likely would have few if any weapons to use.

But hey lets play the blame Obama game cause George W Bush did no wrong and never made a complete # up!

Gotta blow something up now and then to break the monotony.

I do agree with what you stated here regarding the bigger threat. With that said the US does not have to lead everything.

I think the rest of the world would gladly agree with you on that one.
Having said that, while we all wasted time removing a despot under false pretenses (it should have been up to the people of that country to remove their own despot, and perhaps seek assistance to do so where required) we did absolutely nothing while NK became more of a threat to the rest of the world.

While the US govt makes statements about sponsors of terrorism, nuclear threats and Human Rights abuses, they conveniently pretend NK doesn't exist. We know that NK is one of the most dangerous nations on Earth, we know that they have moved on in their development of Nuclear weapons, we know that they murder potentially hundreds of thousands of innocent people a year in their disgusting gulags and concentration camps, and we know they do all of this while actively posing a real threat to one of our allies - and all this happens without a peep from the international community.

If we collectively go after other despots under the banner of "Human Rights", where is the desire to rescue the people of NK from the same?

Once again, because we didn't deal with a despot when we should have things have become a nightmare for international security and peace. NK is an insane nation and it will need to be put down at some time. I fear what while we should have done that ten years ago without the threat of a larger conflict, we instead did nothing and will now have no choice but to act and be involved in an even bigger war when their little psycho toddler decides to spit his pacifier out.

I hope the US is having discussions with China about this, making it clear that when the time comes it is to sit by and do absolutely nothing while the adults deal with that toddler and smack his machine gun out of his hands.

For a country to be "occupied " dont the citizens have to not want them there?

Because the south Korean citizens love us, and love us being there to protect them from the north.

It is more of an invitation only party in South Korea than an occupation.

To save yourself from embarrassment, you might want to double check your partisan bs before you start mouthing off. President George W. Bush was in office in 2006, correct?
The first Nuclear test conducted by North Korea was in 2006, correct?

Bush was in power when North Korea became a nuclear threat to the world.

But hey, don't let facts and reality distort your desperate need to bash Obama at every pathetic opportunity, we all know facts don't usually stop you guys from ranting about that "evil black Muslamic socialist with no birth certificate" right? lol

Intrptr doesn't understand the difference between occupation and an allied relationship. He also screams about the US "occupying" other countries because they have a Nato base. lol

Kind of ironic that a person called intrptr doesn't seem to be able to understand the definitions of simple words

Hate to agree.

And I would not be adverse to the UK helping.

Least now he has a few dozen at most 1950's less than 50Kt nukes either on short range misses that fail half the time or have to be delivered by plane.

If he gets H bombs and gets ICBM then the situation becomes 1000 times worse.....literally.

Empires always say that. They inflect, the people love western ways, but nobody loves foreign occupation.

Lets not apply western double standards. Occupying Korea is about having a military toe hold on the Asian continent.

A port, a base, a jumping off place for further hostilities, a thorn in Asia's underbelly.

'They love us there', lol. The sad thing, is after 60 years of western conditioning, they are indoctrinated alright.

This is a quote from a spokesman for North Korea’s National Defense Commission over this incident:

The army and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) are no longer what they used to be in the past when they had to counter the US nukes with rifles, North Korea… is the invincible power equipped with both [the] latest offensive and defensive means unknown to the world.

The 2.5-mile (4km) wide DMZ separating the two countries is the world's most heavily armed border.

It is littered with landmines, barbed wire and heavy military equipment, as well as more than one million soldiers deployed on both sides.

news.sky.com...

Please give a source which indicates that NK is working towards uniting the countries. The little psycho is firing weapons over a loudspeaker for God's sake.

Aww, you can't fool me. The US wants to make it all us occupied territory. And the world for that matter.

You need sources for that, look up the Internet.
