As you may well know Socialist left policies have virtually decimated the US coal industry good stories on this can be found on the Zero hedge and other websites. For example Alpha natural resources the second largest coal producer in the US after Peabody coal has just filed for bankruptcy. One of the principal financiers of this climate change paradigm is Mr George Soros who was once quoted as saying,'there is no magic bullet for climate change but there is a lethal bullet coal'.In 2009 Soros committed a billion dollars to climate change initiatives and technology.

Now today I read Soros has just bought 1 million shares in Peabody coal and 500 000 shares in Arch Coal

Arch coal shares in 2011 were $3599.00 they are now $1.23
Peabody Shares in 2011 were $72.71 they are now $1.05

The plan is to rip the guts out of existing energy industries then move in and grab it all up for pennies on the dollar. They are working on the nuclear industry also but the billionaires know that sustainable energy is bogus and inefficient for example a 1000mw power station will occupy 50 ha a 1000mw solar power station currently would occupy 35000 ha cost 8 times as much and the power it produces will be twice as expensive,as for wind generators look at all the sickness and health issues arising from them,so there you go theres your scam ruin existing industries then buy them for pennies on the dollar offering bogus replacements that will do nothing than damage real economies(eg Spain) and line billionaires pockets.

World’s Second Largest Source of Electricity Is Now Renewables

Woops.

What are the sicknesses and ill effects tied to wind generators? That doesn't really correlate. How could a wind turbine have harmful health effects. I may have missed something.

Maybe Trump will come up with an idea to have any immigrant have to spend their time for at least one year to spend their first year in America on a bicycle powering a generator to provide electricity for a small few, like from an episode of a great British series Black Mirror.

Its called wind turbine syndrome its caused by infrasound frequencies or vibrations

Interesting thread but the only thing that might be revolutionary and cost effective is the mini-nuclear reactor Lockheed skunkworks is working on.

Well, to begin with, the elements used to make those systems have to be mined from the earth. Most of that mining is being done in China, the least regulated of all the suppliers. Mining in China carries the same risks to health as mining in the US, the same pollutants are produced.
Some people claim that mining silica and rare earth are more dangerous than mining coal or drilling for gas/oil. Since most of this activity goes on in China and third world countries, there is really no way to know the truth behind those claims.
The energy to mine and process the ores into usable materials comes from...wait for it...coal! Try running a rare earth magnet foundry on wind or solar power and see how far you get!

Wind Power Technologies Kill Thousands of Birds every Year Including the Protected American Bald Eagle . How do the Environmentalists Feel about that ?

Doesn't this say more about the character and integrity of billionaire Soros than it does about global warming/climate change?

There are no harmful affects for a wind farm other than the massive amount of birds killed a year. However , to power a small city even would take up more space than it was worth.

The only thing that is constant on this earth is change in our 4 billion year history we have had massive oceans, had smaller oceans,it has been hotter, been colder, been wetter, been dryer all without human help.Even in human history there are places that get hotter or colder or become deserts or flooded and humans migrate accordingly. We may be getting warmer but mans contribution would be minimal,99 per cent is that the big yellow thing in the sky.

This is not to say we dont pollute our waters, pour toxic chemicals onto the ocean and earth or pollute the atmosphere in large cities to the point its disgusting but as for the whole planet I dont think so.

How many birds do trees or windows kill per year? How many people die per year by poisoning the environment by burning coal and other nonrenewable sources?

If wind farms killed so any birds per year, how does deforestation help the cause? There is no home for birds if there are no trees.

Couldn't windfarms just build up? Like have multiple turbines per pole? Couldn't motor vehicles have small wind intakes or turbines attached to them to produce power to cut down on gas?

True . A more Creative and Realistic way to Generate Clean Electrical Power would Be Solar Farms in Space . The La Grange Points between the Earth and Moon could Hold Billions of Solar Panels , and the Sunlight Energy they collect could then be Beamed to a Point on Earth to be Stored , say in the Middle of a Desert and not Near populated areas for Safety reasons . It would take a lot of Capital Investment to even start a Project like that but it would eventually pay for itself after a few Decades .

You guys just won't give up with your BS claims. The usual denier crowd will star and flag this.

Good luck trying to convince anyone who can think critically that this story actually has credibility.

It's all about the Benjamins!
Of course Global Cooling/Warming/Climate Change is a huge scam financed by liberal billionaires, greedy politicians...and scientists looking for grants.

Yes when confronted with a few facts that are contrarian to the climate change paradigm supporters of it like yourself react emotionally sort of like a religious person when confronted with the fact they dont have the 'complete truth' now what isnt factual?

Geez,I dunno, but it seems quite a scam, make an industry the enemy of the environment by funding it`s detractors and funding a false science religion then buy up the industries for pennies on the dollar, all the while receiving accolades from the global warming alarmists!
I wish I would have thought up something like that!

Well that's interesting. Peabody Energy owns the mine where I live. They are a Halliburton owned company. Soros seems to be intensely interested in Halliburton...

The chairman of New York-based hedge fund Soros Fund Management LLC acquired positions in two Houston majors — a $13.7 million stake Halliburton Co.

And has been since at least 2007...

Billionaire George Soros has quietly invested $62 million in the purchase of more than 2 million shares of Halliburton

We aren't even like ants to these people... They make their bubbles and deflate them, fleece the rest of us and it's all just a little game to them.

At least 'green' energy doesn't produce tonnes of black smoke as a result of burn coal into our nice blue skies...

I would rather prefer seeing energy in abundance through alternative means than a fast diminishing means of energy such as coal, oil etc, that can only lead to war at the end.

Peace

What comes out of a modern coal fired plant is STEAM the filtration technology these days is infinately better than those old 40's and 50's plants they show you,do you know where the cleanest water and biggest fish are in the city of Gladstone right next door to the coal plant.I notice on CNN every time they discuss climate change they play clips of tsunamis and other catastrophes not even related remotely to climate change....and the sheep just gobble it up.
