Don't worry unknown to Phage ATS is just a front to capture Phage essence. Once ATS has enough Phage essence they will make Phagebot (tm) and then nothing will matter.

I've "sensed" nothing beyond this life.

I've wept in a girlfriend's arms after contemplating the notion of eternal nothingness. Whether this is the case or not, I see it fitting to continue searching for alternative answers; if there is no alternative to such a conclusion, you're no better off... if there is an alternative, then how great would be such a lifting of the veil of pessimism...

You were not to reveal this to the masses NOW, meant to be the grand joke played later (when NO ONE was looking).I am not so sure about Earths idea of its parasites, (we as its ticks and fleas) does it mind, will it shake us off like water on a dog? George Carlin must come back to life and explain this (now that he has experienced the future as a dead person) what is what and how its all to happen for us still living (or those in Florida; the 'make believe' state only).
