Just thought I'd add another source here:
www.rt.com...

There are reports of gunfire and an explosion in the center of Istanbul, according to Reuters. It is said to have taken place near the entrance to the Dolmabahce Palace in Turkey’s largest city. The prime minister’s Istanbul offices are located nearby.

Both the Dogan news agency and Hurriyet say that no one was killed or injured during the attack, while police opened fire with automatic weapons on the two gunmen. The attackers were later caught by the police near the German Consulate General.

More explosions... Seriously, every day now something has exploded...

Thanks, I was coming back with that same link, 2 suspects arrested, nobody hurt. Sounds like a good result from what could have been a nightmare

I completely agree. No word on what might've exploded though... That still has me curious.
