Logically if robotics do all the available paid employment, then the future projection will have most if not all of the population on some form of welfare. It would have to because in a cash economy , it only works if people spend cash. At the present level of welfare, if pensions ,unemployment and sickness benefits were withdrawn, significant proportions of economic activity would cease. It could be said being a consumer is actually a job in itself, which promotes trade.

Wait until the politician finds out there ARE no "implanted satellite tracker chips".

We get this sort of thing all the time; movies are very powerful with the brass' minds sometimes. You wouldn't believe how much of your tax money goes down ratholes like this.

If a welfare state exist it means you have already lost. Welfare recievers are not scum. Stop making out they are stealing what they are entitled to as a shareholder in the earths resources. it exists for us all to live off. If you are motivated to earn more for a better standard of living then good for you. Do not make me out to be a theif for getting a share of earths bounty. Everything belongs to us all.
Its crazy when we admire people who Climb the ladders of success. This is done on the back of hard working welfare recipients. Yes working, because in the UK welfare recipients who are working get topped up with benefits, That is money laundering the public purse to pay wages for a job that doesn't exist because the company cant afford to pay a living wage. The companies then share out millions in shareholder dividends when that money should have been used to pay a living wage. I accuse all shareholders of profiteering from welfare scroungers by not paying living wages whilst sharing out millions in profit at the end of each financial year.
Who are scum really shareholders or benefit recipients,

If you accept government money that you didn't work for then you should have no rights. No one should simply receive money for breathing. The welfare system doesn't work.

Go Finland!! Make welfare an uncomfortable way to make a living.

So being poor is a crime in your eyes?

You are one messed up person.

You do realise GE gets more in corporate welfare in one year than food stamps.....
Nvm, you only hate poor people, you will not see the truth.

The real leaches are the corporations, not the working poor.

Could you ever imagine a policy like this for those that receive corporate welfare? Much more of a drain on most economies,

Do corporations travel a lot such that they need to be tracked?
"Damn, where did Chevron go. They were here a minute ago."

They are the leaches, not the poor that work their butts off for nothing, so the shareholders can make more by doing nothing than those actually doing everything.

Ya it is not class warfare until you start talking about the corps.

The poor is punching back to take your anger out getting their bread crumbs while the corps get the whole damn cake.

When 'chipped' welfare recipients manage to find a job and their claims for benefits ceases, how do they get their 'welfare chip' removed and who pays for it?

Or will they be stuck with it for life afterwards even when they're working?

No worries, there isn't such a thing, so they'll never have to deal with it.

a reply to: Phage it's a nonsense story. Just aimed at anyone who claims benefits. I'm not falling for it. Just part of the ongoing class war instigated by a ruling class, who will use anything to demonise those on benefits.

Another idiot politician pandering to a certain group (those who don't like Muslim immigrants) in order to gain support.

Most welfare recipients already work.

Ever been to Walmart? Fast food a gas station?

A hotel basically any restraunt any retail outlet a grocery store?

Basically 60 percent of the working population of America is eligible because none of these places pay anything, because their pos owners need another house or boat or a 12 the car etc.

The best part is that I bet it gets proposed here next, we have the dumbest politicians on earth.

But these things always backfire.

Reminds me of the " so many welfare recipients are druggies" bs.

Except when they drug tested the poor in Florida, guess what they discovered...... Duh Duh Duh!

Basically none were on any drugs of any type, because they are poor, they can't afford drugs....
Idiots.
