Hero cop saves truckers life.

An Ohio state trooper rolled up (12 minutes before paramedics arrived) on a trucker who had crashed his 18 wheeler onto an embankment during a medical emergency.

The trooper can be heard giving him CPR after he stopped breathing and saying come on man " stay awake" "dont you die on me". And he started breathing again just as paramedics arrived to take him to the hospital. The trooper has been credited with saving his life..

Pretty dramatic and damm what a great effing cop. We need alot more like him..

Thanks for posting this. i can't speak for every one of them, but most OSP Troopers are just like him and would not hesitate to do the same thing. He fell back on his training, stayed in control and took the proper action. Just an awesome story start to finish.

The highway patrol exists and functions the way it does for a reason, and it's not to raise revenue for the state. It costs the state a hell of a lot more to maintain the patrol that it could ever dream of making off of $150 traffic tickets. The goal is the reduction of crashes and criminal activity of the highway, and the general safety of all motorists. Sorry for the mini rant.
