I've always had a fascination for origami and the creative things people can do with plain old paper , animals , flowers , working V6 engines.... Ok
perhaps not V6 engines , well until now that is.
The video bellow was posted by a chap who has made such a creation , a working V6 engine powered by air , the only concession he made was scotch tape
on the sides of the pistons for understandable reasons.
Thats really fun, i realise when you say air powered you just mean hes using air to run the engine backwards - as if the expelled expanded gas after
the ignition lights comes out, hes running it back through to prove it would work forwards.
Of course with his paper version... might not run for long with real gas explosions hehe!
Pretty neat... I see that the point where the balloon attaches has a mini camshaft inside, which is opens the doors (valves?) to each passage that
leads to each cylinder head. So the air from the balloon is pushing down the piston, which rotates the crankshaft and cam, which opens another door
(value) to the next piston.
Cool stuff.
