This one isn't running for President, but She is the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is apparently facing criminal charges as she prepares for a re-election campaign.

They just won't stop will they.

What drives these maniacs?

The government failures are piling up high.

Pennsylvania prosecutor lacks support as she fights charges

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s political support has virtually collapsed as she prepares to fight criminal charges that could end her career.

Kane’s backing in legal and political circles was tenuous before she was charged in an alleged political payback scheme and has largely crumbled since she was arraigned Aug. 6 on perjury and other charges, according to several Democratic insiders.

She is as slippery as they come!

This has been going on for awhile with her and her antics. Even our Progressive governor has his hands tied from helping her out of the mess she has created for herself!

Then we have Congressman Chaka Fattah who was indicted on Corruption charges yet still running for another term........

Things sucked under Corbett, but I think the corruption in this state is pretty much beyond repair!

Don't forget, PA was the state with the "Kids for Cash" sending children to jail for pay offs........

I would like to say I'm shocked but this is par for the course these days.

But then again it's election season, everyone lives in a glass house and there are plenty of stones just waiting to be thrown. This will not be the last revelation we hear about.

Did you ever notice what all these thieving politicians have in common? THEY ARE ALL LAWYERS!!!

Bloody marvelous eh? The law is lawless. I think I shall claim that as my quote! "The law is lawless"- Kevin J. Needledick

Maybe we should just start posting about non corrupt politicians. The list would be much shorter to non existent. Politicians are corrupt both parties, state and federal. The details and level are the only details that change. But really it's the democrats at fault or no it's the republicans. Yeah keep falling for that illusion.

All governments fail eventually.

Massive corruption and, criminal and poverty maintenance makes it happen.

Debt slavery helps too.

True but we're too big to fail, it will always be like this. Only one party is corrupt. Or something like that

Why do they do what they do?

Because we let them. We don't hold them accountable. Until we start to this isn't going to stop...why should it?

We don't give a flyin' *bleep*, why should they care?

I was going to take the time to post a well thought out response about...

I'm going to have to get back to you on that. My Facebook alerts are going off and my favorite reality TV show just came on.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Modern day politicians seek office not to make a difference, but in an effort to gain power and money. It seem the higher the office(even at state level), the more the holder feels they are above the law. Hence we read weekly about some elected official and all manners of gaming the system, met with a shrug by the public and a return to whatever reality series is currently aired.

Look at HRC intersession with UBS, Bush Jr.'s shady business deals that Dad helped cover up prior to his run, etc., etc. Politicians feeling power and status, evolves into an entitled sense of not being held to the laws the rest of us slobs observe daily. Aside from legal repercussions, many are smug in the sense John Q. will overlook or forgive their transgressions, and shrug it off. And many of us do just that.

Why doesn't the OP make a thread about the Cindy Gamrat scandal?

My sincere apologies.
After I put on my reading glasses I noticed she is a Republican

it makes sense why there is no such thread

my bad

carry on

We can also sweep Joseph Hayon under the rug too

Or?

How about you make the thread. Wouldn't that accomplish much the same thing?

Get over the damned partisanship people. God. You're playing right into their hands and you don't even seem to realize it.

Oh, the Republicans are evil. Oh, the Democrats are evil. Oh... Oh...

sounds like an elementary school yard argument.
