He wasn't an egyptologist. I amazes me how one person makes up some weird link and others go yeah that is strange. He was a geologist looking for a job he was born in egypt. It's actually very insulting that certain members think somehow he was unqualified being from egypt. He proved he was valuable while working for bell. So much so that when they got the contract to work with NASA they moved him on to the project. It wasn't even the job he was hired for.
