No beliefs trump any other belief. Neither side, regardless of their belief means anything in this case. The law is what is being enforced here.

Fabulous.

I never said my opinion should be the law of the land.

I simply stated my opinion.

You disagree. I'm ok with that. I don't need to win. I don't need to be "right".

Ok. Well, good luck with that. Hopefully you resist the temptation to apply that in your every day life.

But if not. Have fun in prison.

I'm off to play video games now.

Maybe. But my beliefs don't deserve to eclipse yours, nor yours mine.

But a business owner, based on their beliefs, can violate the 14th Amendment as well as US Code 42 2000a, state discrimination laws and violate the terms of their business license?

Opinion is neither wrong nor wrong, or logical or illogical. It simply is.

Neither wrong nor wrong. That's logical.
It is the opinion of some that the Earth is flat. That is wrong. And illogical.

Your opinion that it is ok for a business to discriminate against a religious (or any other) group is certainly a target for criticism. But you don't want to hear about that. Do you?

Then a forum is not your ideal place.
You'll be wanting a blog.

In the years I've come here...I have never once cared what you think.

Not once.

Typo. My bad. Don't shoot!

However, I'm sure you got the point I was looking to convey. If you didn't, I wouldn't begin to know how to help you.

My opinion, is my opinion. You REALLY seem to want to rub my nose in it and make me see things your way.

And honestly, criticism from you...doesn't upset me. If anything, it provides a moment of laughter.

I agree. I feel there should be a standard. A standard in which people decide to go where they're welcome.

But people are too weak and willing to be a victim to see that.

If I am a religious business owner, and choose NOT to take your money...well, that is my idiotic right.
Not if you are using a business license. That license is a contract which carries certain obligations.

So local business licenses trump the First Amendment? Who knew?
