This is somewhat weird, ATS. I got an anonymous email today about the end times and the US role in biblical prophecy. At the end of this presentation comes the pitch to order a book on how to prepare and survive the "End Times." Normally, I am quick to dismiss this kind of thing as non-sense but the presenter makes some interesting connections between the bible and our present day situation.

The presenter states that WW3 will start before January 2017 because it will be a war between the King of the North, Vladimir Putin and the King of the South, Barack Obama. He goes on to say that Putin's weapon of indignation will be an Electro-Magnetic Pulse weapon which will knock out all electronics and leave the US military helpless; allowing for an invasion of a military front of nations seeking to destroy the US. The video is about 1/2 an hour so I'd love to hear the opinions of those who see it.

You know I got sucked into that ad a while ago - realizing it was an ad. I believe in Bible prophecy and that it is unfolding about us.

But as soon as there is money requested I don't trust it. Those who are really spreading the warning are more concerned about making a fast buck instead of giving the information out which everyone should be entitled to.

Hope that helps.

Ha, no. That's the thing - it's all worded to create extreme fear and goes along with what the world news is showing, it's correct on Bible prophecy to indicate mass horrors will occur but as soon as I saw the book being sold, etc. I thought how shameful - if you are coming from a Biblical viewpoint then it is your responsibility to inform people, not sell a book that some can't afford, can't be bothered with, don't have internet access to even see. And ultimately you are dooming those people to living in fear. Their real concern is making money not to help people. And that is self serving.

I agree, but there is no other way to get the information out, unless you are already loaded with cash. That's how the system works, you publish and the publisher does all the printing and markets the book and that gets paid for when people buy the book.

Nice post. I am open to a lot of things ranging from prophecy to aliens. The moment though people come off as this is the end and we need your money to help it is a no go. Same reasoning, if you have this knowledge and cared I would venture to say getting the helpful info out not money would be primary. If not, don't think it's the source I would look to get help from

I agree - but to a point. There are many websites where the matter is discussed in detail and tips given and advice shared. And at times there is a book at the end if someone wants to have something to hold onto or refer back to or put in their library, that sort of thing.

But I'm against this type of scenario where prophecy is being mentioned and people are in dire danger and then one has to dish out money to find out how to get through it. This site hints at what is happening, what is going to happen and we must prepare. But you won't find out how unless you send money first.

Just like if I was to have a website on dog mange. I would give whatever cures I'm aware of and give that info freely. I don't want any living thing to suffer and if I know it then hey, share the vital info. But if I'm selling a book then I might include some tips on products or old wives tales that have helped, etc. I'm giving a poor example but I think you get what I mean.

And I haven't even read this site in good detail. For all I know they are playing on prophecy and fearful world events all tying in together but it may not even be Biblical which is the slant this is coming across as. So for all I know this website is conning money from people (or maybe they truly believe what they have to say).

You OPENED an anonymous-unknown email? Thats not smart. Not these days! At all. You opened yourself up to malicious phishing, viruses, malware, worms, key-logger counters.

Im guessing you always do this.

Please...don't email me or PM me here without identifying yourself. Even if you do...I may not open it, even if I know...
