I apologize for my off topic comments.... I think crowd funding a city could get very messy, but with a fandom like this, the people could pull it off. It would be such an awesome thing, to walk into Gondor. Many who don't have much extra money would be willing to contribute (myself included).

There are so many "worlds" I'd love to see created like this. It's like dreams come true, to walk through your favorite fictional world! Though, I doubt they'd get funding for Watership Down

Ha. I think the comments are quite on point.. Just it didn't spark interest from the rest of the ATS community.. It's the last time I quote Tolkein here!

Also just google imaged "Watership Down" and saw angry looking animated rabbits.. puzzling.

But yes it could get messy, unless it was handled like an investment scheme.. I'm sure it would have a better interest rate than leaving money in a bank collecting dust!

Next on the list.. Westeros!
