My niece took this photo of her son with an iphone after shopping for some new footballs. She noticed that something peculiar had happened to her sons physical profile, head, chest and arm. She swears that she hasn’t doctored the photo in any way but just created a zoomed in copy.

I can see a ‘rip’ in the curtain rail above him. Is this just an iphone anomaly? Is it a simple digital double exposure? Your guess is as good as mine. Appreciate the feedback. I copied the photos from facebook so I don’t know what info might have been lost.

MAN that's just a light reflection on the curtains folds.
And as far as the kid it just white balance is off. Notice some of the lines on the blinds are missing as well. Over exposure and again the white balance is off, thats all.

REALLY?

Well maybe he it just postured in a odd way? Or the kid is a morph and you caught him? Never less you should have mentioned all that in the OP and i wouldn't have come off so hard like I did.

But yea now that you mention that, it is rather odd.

The curtain rod and the trim along the ceiling is messed up too. Odd.

I have an iphone 5S , and similar thing has happened to me once or twice when i've used the panoramic shot. it's the photo stitching.

Saying that, this is obviously not a panoramic shot, so it is a little unusual, but no doubt it'll be something simple like a software problem/glitch etc

Look, the camera moved while you were capturing the shot and the motion stabilizing software couldn't fix it.

So you have one part of the shot skewed in comparison to another.

It's no major issue. Just take your next shot with the 'phone held still.

Problem solved.

Is it possible the screen is cracked?
It is a strange thing though, I have an Iphone and have never noticed my photos being "out of whack"...

Sick of my phone BTW!
