A Down Under drone operator in Australia had a rude awakening when the angry bird "punched" his high tech to the junk heap. "This is the last thing a small bird sees when a Wedge-Tailed Eagle decides that you are dinner," Adam Lancaster, who posts as Melbourne Aerial Video, wrote.
He claimed he was more concerned for the bird. "Eagle was fine -- she was massive, and used talons to 'punch' the drone out of the sky," wrote Lancaster. However, he says he has a new rule of thumb when doing aerial drone surfing. "If you see a bird of prey while flying. Land" he posted.
