Or is it that I have given it thought and read up on various such meetings and have a quick response because of it?

The G-6, G-7, G-8, G-20, World Economic Forum, World Leaders Conference... there's dozens.

Ah, same attendees.

But you didn't even know that The Bilderberg Group was founded by a socialist. You said that Bernie opposes everything they stand for.

So my guess is no.

It's hard to call this one. So many counters to counter-moves layered in gossamer fashion. The rumblings say that a schism has occurred, though. I can't source it, but lots of double agent stuff going on at executive levels globally. There may be some epic double crossing in the horizon. Either, this will be the year of extreme technological ascension, or total subjugation worldwide. Both sides are all in, and the celestial bodies are in alignment!

Interested in the rumbling talk of a schism. It reminds me of this recent story planted in the Washington Post:

SNIP: "Four Trump allies and one Clinton associate familiar with the exchange said that Clinton encouraged Trump's efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party and offered his own views of the political landscape."

Bill Clinton advises Donald

~END SNIP~

Now, obviously Bill Clinton AND Donald Trump sanctioned this story. Why?

[EDIT: I mean FIVE unnamed sources from both sides approach the media at the same time with this story. How unlikely is that?]

Is there something more taboo about that word than the word 'capitalism?' I don't get it? It's not like I am calling socialsm 'communism.'

What's the big deal with talking about socialism?

OK...... I'll bite.

You're all over the place in regards to talking about socialism. First you say this

Someone sure is smiling on Bernie, because an avowed socialist would normally never have a chance to win it all with a mandate under ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES.

and this...

And I am not comforted by knowing it was Joseph Retinger -- a Polish Socialist like Bernie Sanders -- who founded The Bilderberg Group.

Which, in effect, give a negative vibe in regards to your feeling on socialism. Which is fine, I mean we all have our own viewpoint on how society should be run. This also gives credence to your other statement to me in regards to socialism being a taboo in the American political system. I didn't say it..... You did.

But you then say this...

Not at all. I have considered myself to be socialist and remain open to socialism.

I do know that socialism kind of has a church unto oneself element to it so it's rather easy claim to be one on one hand and demonize it on the other.

Back to the topic at hand. Is Bernie Sanders a part of the Bilderberg Group or did you just pull that connection out of your......?
Or did you just associate the two based off of similarly claimed ideologies? You know, since Sanders is a socialist he must be a part of that group.

Then again I'm not really a socialist, I consider myself more of a pragmatist, so maybe you could explain proper socialism to me. And what is flawed with the kind Sanders..... errrrr I mean the Bilderbergers promote.

Well then, why did they wait until Bernie was 75 before putting him in the presidency? Couldn't they have done it when he was a little younger? It's not like he hasn't been in politics all this time.

Don't read into my comments by thinking I have a personal stake either way. I honestly do not. I am just trying to unravel what's going on behind the scenes. Socialism only feels negative to me if the people are not the ones actually choosing it. If it is the actual will of the people, I support the will of the people. If socialism is where we are headed, then I would like to see a socialist economy used as an INVESTMENT in the people. And for me, that means EDUCATION. Education is not accessible or affordable to many people tied to our current social welfare system. I don't have much confidence that will change.

I can find positives and negatives to both capitalism and socialism.

I just don't believe for one second that political strategies and games are not being played. So, I have just sized up the situation before us to try to figure how the situation came to be.

Personally, I don't think the American people have been ready to accept a socialist until now.

I didn't? Regardless of the way it was meant to be, today it is a gathering of bankers, corporate heads and politicians. The top .001% that Bernie consistently rails against.

Any candidate can rail against anything. I hope Bernie is the real deal. Because I do believe he will win.

Thank you. Even though I must admit I've taken the topic off course a bit I like a little clarification on things here and there.

So once again....Back to the original topic. How is Bernie Sanders connected to the Bilderberg Group? Besides the fact that there is a similar ideology. Or is it just that he's a claimed socialist so he has to be connected to that faction?

I don't think groups pick who will be the next President or any elected office. I think they decide who they will financially back. If those groups get "their guy" it's no one but the voters fault. However, I don't think they would ever pick a man like Sanders to back. It would be absurd. Democratic Socialism stands poised to cripple them.

Oh I don't know about that. I think they were ready to accept a socialist back in 2008.

I don't recall sanders ever being invited to bilderberg, normally leaders like Tony Blair, David Cameron and Obama have attended at one point in the past

It's The Bilderbergers long history of influencing U.S. politics and the media that has led me to connect them. I don't believe any candidate gets media attention unless they have been 'approved.'

Bilderberg's picking our politicians

Ok. So The Bilderberg Group is completely transparent and announces all their contacts with U.S. political players.

I am not gullible enough to believe that.
