Yes, I too am glad our wonderful Mods have such a wonderful sense of humor.

I'm Burd. I guess I'm known as the least controversial, least confrontational, most kumbya-ish member of Staff. I am a pacifist who will go out of my way to avoid even harming a bug. Weapons scare me, the darkness terrifies me, and I am petrified of being away from people. Large, diverse crowds of strangers are the scene for me!

I thought this would attract a little growl and a "perhaps" and then within the next three years it would have gone through endless board meetings, conducted on the beaches of exotic islands and then by some sort of elaborate voting process the almighty (plural) would have concluded we the people could benefit from such encounters.
Then they would have made their own exclusive Mod Intro Forum.

A tune by the Mods choice would play when you swiped across the avatar.
Springers would be " God Save Our Gracious Queen" or is that King?

And we could reward people for all the hilarious comments.
