Area 51 in early U2 trials in color

Thought this was neat. VERY early footage of Area 51 and the U2 program and some of the special protocol involved in working in such an environment. For those of you A51 enthusiast this should be a treat. We also in the early minutes get some nice historical insight into the dialect and nomenclature of the early Area 51 not to mention why the particular site was chosen.

I particularly found the end of the documentary to be the most informative.

I liked the part of the video where the man was polishing the plane by hand with a towel. I bet the men (and women) and worked on that project took pride in that plane and the significance of it.

I too thought it was very interesting about "the chase plane" it seems they are still using the same modus operandi.
