Trouble has broken out in the Greek island of Kos after migrants who had been comping alongside roads and beaches were rounded up to be taken to a football stadium to be registered.

But an attempt relocate hundreds of people to a stadium for registration on Tuesday degenerated into chaos, with scuffles breaking out in the long queues.
"The situation on the island is out of control," Kos mayor Giorgos Kiritsis told the Greek news agency ANA. "There is a real danger that blood will be shed."
Protesting migrants demanding quick registration also began blocking the main coastal road in the island's main town, according to the Associated Press.
They reportedly chanted: "We want papers, we want to eat!"
www.bbc.co.uk...

With seemingly no end to the flow things will only get worse.

Hows the progressive pipe dream turning out for these guys.....Yep failure. I want my papers so I can eat. Fools every last one them. This is what progressive ideals bring......A weak entitled populace looking for whatever hand out they can get.

This is rooted in putting the rights of the masses before individual rights.

And what money is Greece going to use to feed them with? Last I checked, Greece was broke. The problem with socialism. Eventually, you run out of other people's money.

How are they entitled when their money was stolen from them by self proclaimed entitled? I'm sure these people would gladly pay for their bread if they were to have their money returned to them by the self proclaimed entitled.

Nothing to do with politics. Everything to do with elite criminals.

More to do with people wanting what others have got but not willing to go through the proper channels to achieve it.
I think it's a bit rich to break into someones country and start making demands , I'm sure there are charities out there providing eat as with Calais.

We cannot house the continent of Africa in Europe.

Ladies and gentlemen
We are witness to the greatest upheaval of civilization in millennia.
The destruction of Europe as a collection of friendly countries is happening before our eyes.
There will be a spark and the bonfire will ignite.

IMHO It is all part of a great plan, sadly this plan involves the annihilation of many of us.
Great forces are at play here.
By great I mean huge, not good.

The obvious result is the inevitable rise of a far right force.
And it will rise.
Sadly dark days are ahead for the human race
(again)
I deeply wish it weren't so,
I simply want peace and a free world of knowledge and scientific progress for my children, and theirs.

But there are so many who want to deny them that.

I hate this planet sometimes,
too many a$$h*les.
And too little time left

I wish I could disagree on one single point.

I can't.

Europeans are facing cultural annihilation. What do expect them to do about it? Their leadership is inviting the destruction, and whenever you push a population too far, it will snap.

I'm afraid it will happen here too.

Im feeling like a 2nd class citizen in my own country, everyone has to tip toe around the immigrants or be labled a racist if you try to speak up for yourself.

No im not a racist and I don't care what religion you belive in, just don't come over here and force your beliefs on me and tell me how to live and don't expect special treatment.

Maybe its time to tell the refugees to sod off? We dont care where ya go but ya cant stay here. Forcefully deport them back to thei rcountries to face traitors deaths if need be. They will sort it out themselves.

I my eyes the media are blowing this out of proportion. I know a few people who live and work in Kos, and ive been there myself when media are reporting rioting and do you know what I see.

Nothing... yes a handful of migrants each day but apart from that nothing at all.

The media love to do this all doom and gloom get their ratings up. Don't believe everything, think first.

The level of ignorance here is astounding. Clearly, most of you didn't read this story, and you've all jumped in just assuming that this is all about "socialism" and "handouts" in a collapsed nation.

You guys are really showing yourselves up to be the ignorant, extremist, right-wing, hateful group I've come to expect from ATS in recent months.

These are migrants, mostly women and children, from places like Syria. They're not looking for a "free ride", this has f-all to do with European economics, this is sod all to do with "progressive policies" - but any excuse to go into a right-wing rant about the "evil commies" right guys? Even if it makes you all look like illiterate numpties?

Let me educate you all about what is actually happening here, seeing as you're alll too lazy to read anything yourselves...

These are mainly women and children who have fled Isis in Syria and Iraq. They have made it to Kos (which is a Greek Island, and not the capital of Greece as some seem to think) seeking help.

These are not people "looking for a handout", they are people looking to SURVIVE.

ATS is becoming a joke, full of incredibly ignorant people who can't even be bothered to read about something before ranting their political bs - which is usually based on xenophobia and racism.

I don't have anything against the migrants at all, I understand what is happening and why they are doing it, I'm just sad that the media decide to blow it out of proportion and say things that aren't actually happening. Whilst out there me and a friend saw a news video (mainstream in the UK) that showed a video of migrants fighting. When a local who we knew saw the video they said thats fake, that video is from years ago and nothing to do with the migrants.

It annoys me to no end how media can do this and everyone simply believes what is fed to them.

The struggle against migrants is clear Either/or, Any half measures leads to our own destruction. There is no other choice than to fight a pitiless battle against them in every form.
If the Migrants want to fight, it's fine with us. We have wanted that fight for a long time now.

There is no room in this world for migrants anymore. Them or us? one of us has to go. If this battle is not fought to it's end
Then take a look at the UK 500 years from now. I think you will find but few images of God.

The only thing I can say is that no matter what town / city/ country you live in there are a cap on resources. There is so much money, so much food, so many medical facilities, so many legal facilities, etc. Operating with constraints is a rough balance. When large numbers of migrants go anywhere that must be accounted for. If this continues lack of resources will be an issue. This simple fact never gets talked about. Ie how many people can any place hold depending on resources. The culture/racial/religious/etc are also things to consider. But I can promise when it gets to a point when people outnumber resources, compassion will go out the window as survival and resource needs take priority. Luckily the world is full of smart noble politicians so no worries.

The words are their own , the media is reporting what they see , the woman says she wants money so she doesn't have to stay in Greece , she wants to go to Europa , which I guess she meant the UK.

To deny the problem is to deny reality , we have offered safe haven to refugees for years , decades , but now we must say NO to economic migration , there is no room at the inn.

What cracks me up is the politician saying that Kos is out of control because of a few hundred migrants kicking off.

They seem to be able to handle the big football matches over there where there could possibly 3-5k kicking off if allowed.

Its all bull#, if they cant deal with 200 migrants, then they need to grow some balls and call in those who can sort it out.

Utter crap!

I don't see many children in that group. Most appear young and healthy.
These Greek islands are very easy for them to get to making them appealing to those trying to escape the middle east.
I suspect it's a even mix of true refugees and opportunists who just see a much better life if they jump a few borders.
Nations without borders are no longer such.
When laws no longer apply you may as well declare anarchy.

This is a dinky island with a population of less than 30,000
That is way more than 200 migrants and you can bet that was not all of them.
More coming every day.
Sure, they're broke and can barely afford to feed themselves but let's blame them for the migrants issues.
Must be nice wherever you live not having to deal with human tsunamis overrunning your place.
