Blue is tear welling (an old cartoon trick to elicit sympathy).

MSNBC's motto is "Bend Over".
CNN's motto is, "Pull my finger'.
Fox's motto is, "Fair and balanced".

CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS's mottos are, "Please pay attention to me!"

They should all change their motto to caveat emptor

They're gonna have to lurch to survive. Their prime demographic is both getting wise to them or dying off.

And of course the new generation is going to go where the money is.

I think it's of note that my mom and grandmother didn't start watching so much of Fox News until after Obama became president. They really didn't like him as a president so I guess they latched onto Fox News constantly railing against him every single day. Unfortunately along the way they've adopted every stance Fox News seems to support as well.

GTA hit the nail on the head: "Confirming Your Biases".

Interesting news if true. Maybe FOX will finally get nearer to its "Fair and Balanced" tagline.

It would be a fun experiment to take Fox News and slowly turn it liberal over the course of say, five years?
Then, take a poll of the people who continued to watch Fox News the entire time ... I wonder if their political leanings would change to match whatever's on the television?

Conservatives have a wily sense of humor so would play along with the experiment JUST FOR FUN (without you even knowing) and skew your result findings (if the Constitution is the basis for their idea of government) and yours is Mien Kampf?

That would be the 'fresher/newest' generation (providing they can find a job or enjoy an income) or others of their generation (FIND THE MONEY) comparable to their parents or parents pets; once out of basement living (parents rented your room out).

That would be great. Not because I prefer one side or the other, but because to those that use their brain even a bit, it would be all the proof they needed to decide that it's all a show.

If changing owners changed the news, was it a news station in the first place? We've been saying all along Fox is nothing but entertainment, they stopped having anything to do with proper journalism a long time ago.

Lurching left? LOL

It seems to me that Murchoch and Ailes are in-fighting over Fox's love for The Donald. Murdoch isn't a fan and Ailes is. There are plenty of stories online discussing this. IMO the Koch brothers probably called their buddy Murdoch to remind him that Trump blew off their official "ring kissing" and needed to be punished for daring to to do so.

Ailes didn't agree. Not because he has morals or anything. But because his demographic is all about Trump and he can influence things far, far more if Trump gets pushed.

Then the debate showed that Ailes has obviously caved.

But left? A debate that ends with a question about whether or not any of them have received a direct blessing from God? That's not left at all. That's about as far right as is possible.

Slippery bold question. They all answered it; even if God wasn't obviously visible to the camera or audience; unseen floating between Kelly and Baier.

I wonder if Hillary will be invited on a show.

I would think Hillary is invited to go on Fox daily..question is, if it went more centerist, would she go on.

What is she afraid of? If her 'liberal/socialist' position is so secure she should be able to answer simple questions from a conservative network. Fact is any of them; Gutfeld, Kelly, Baier, Hannity, McCallum would chew her to pieces.
