As for our colonial cousins across the pond, they can be incredibly insular in their outlook.

I'm glad the Mediterranean effluent washes on the Isles and not on W.A. Our sand is still yellow.

weighted towards a US centric viewpoint of the world and the events in it.

Oh shucks you really mean to say American Exceptionalism?

Please take with a grain of salt:

Canada won't even let a person in if they have a DUI

Good!

does Canada export or exhile people with DUI's? no.

I feel like somebody needs a field sobriety test atm...

Canada is more American than Mexico.

Nah man! If it makes you feel better to think so, than so be it. We're more similar to the England (we're part of the commonwealth enculturation) and we have the same "mug" on our currency as the Brits. One look at our Street names and major highways kinds of says it all - "the Queen Elizabeth Way" which is always jammed up. However, Amsterdam is considered Toronto's sister city when one weighs how society functions as a whole from a cultural perspective; London is a close second.

Btw, America (especially the southern states) is more Mexico than Mexico...hehe

Thanks for the laugh, my friend.

Brits have imperialism sewn in to their DNA. The U.S. could care less about Europe.

And yet your Prez still bows down to the Queen...at least one of ex prime Ministers had the pure Aussie audacity of touching her back

Europe is in Canada. It has 48 states in it. That's why they call us the lower 48, because they're the upper 48.
They speak French in Europe and wear berets there and drive funny vehicles called "poo-joes".

The same laws for the most part exist in Canada as in the U.S. Canada was owned and ruled by the U.K. therefore explaining why street names are named after Queens. Canada for several decades has been suckiling off of the U.S. and which explains why they follow every military tactic the U.S. takes. How many U.S. Corporations are in Canada and how many Canadian corporations are in the U.S.? Canada answers to the U.S. before anyone else, even before themself. Canada is a worth as much as their natural resources produce. Many of the corporations that farm the resources of Canada are American subsidiaries. So how do you think Canada is much different? It won;t be too long until it is all one and the same.

Well we could do the same. America is not just the United States. South America? Central America? Not all one country either.

And I recognize that fact.

I would not insult Canada by lumping it with the US of A

Yet another shot at the U.S.. Why the hell are you still here, I ask you?

Perhaps some day something positive will slip past your sneering lips.. Brits have imperialism sewn in to their DNA. The U.S. could care less about Europe. You've been nothing but a royal pain in the arse for far too long. A pox on you wankers.

Panties in American English (typically called knickers in British English) are a form of underwear worn by women

More proof that crazyewok is a fifth columnist!

www.urbandictionary.com...

Knickers is the correct terminology for a womens undergarments, the undergarment which is not a bra

Lol, we call them pants in Wales and SW England.
...what do US folk call them then as pants are trousers for them? Do men wear 'panties' there as well?

And in the same tone, if gas is petrol, what do they call the gas for their ovens?

When referring to the UK as Europe (completely different cultures and language) you may as well refer to Pizza as a vegetable.... oh you do.

It's even more annoying when Americans don't know where Portugal is and call us Spain. Guys, our country is nearly 900 years old, it's not that hard to figure out that Portugal is the most western country in Europe. Also, you guys have an army base in one of OUR islands, Terceira, which is part of the Azores, or Açores.
