Some people insist on not letting the man speak.

That's my entire issue.

Best (and most outrageous) line in the thread! Congratulations! What on EARTH do you mean??? He's been speaking straight for a couple months now, and media has been covering every word!

Thanks for the Vote.

I would prefer Trump told me what he thought.

You are backing the Socialist.

So, if you don't mind. I prefer to let Trump talk about his ideas.

I don't care for anybody's perceptions of his ideas.

He did the same in his younger years during the 80's to residents of an apartment building he just purchased. Shut off the utilities, waltzed right in with his coat and yelled you're all evicted.

I would call it an exchange of cheap shots and move on.

The first question to the panel in the debate was addressed to the entire panel, but that was a hoax. It was aimed a Trump to poison the well for everything that was to follow.
It was a two part question- A trick of debaters.
“Will you endorse whoever is selected to be the republican candidate?” Thump being trump would not promise to endorse someone he did not feel was in the best interest of the country. The second part was about being a third party candidate. None of the talking heads recognized the two part trick. They focused only of the third party threat. Trump admitted it was a leverage position to get and keep an even playing field from the GOP establishment. He always admits his position. He does not dodge. He admitted, as a businessman, he would donate for an expectation for access to politicians. You don’t like it? You think it is evidence of a lack of ethics? Get over it. This is how things are done. Trump is good at it and he admits it. Ever see honesty like that in politics?

Handoff to Kelly – “You called some women Fat Pigs. Is this proper behavior for a presidential candidate?” (Not an exact quote)

Trump in his entertainment role, often performed in an outrageous mode and made attention getting remarks. If a woman was irksome and large, that summed up to Fat Pig. Nasty? Rude? Not used in polite company? YES, but consider the context. When confronted by a woman who is large and giving you trouble, I submit the most of us, both men and women, form a rude response but hold it back as non productive. Trump did not slink and slither away from his past contexts. He owned it. He is honest. Get use to it.

The debate moderators developed all of the questions and made assignments for maximum ratings impact. Kelly’s question was a cheap shot and a one two punch right out of the box. Trump is a counter puncher, so you get a nasty comeback. Kelly, you earned it. I feel the attack does not reflect well on the Fox team. Shame on you.

I love watching people freak out over Donald Trump.

I despise both political parties and extreme politics in general.

Anyone who makes both parties squirm is the right man for the job!

I don't think the democrats are squirming over the Donald.

They can't believe their good fortune that the GOP front runner is a misogynistic, narcissistic, fool.

They are doing a non stop happy dance watching the Republicans tear themselves apart over Trump, while he
alienates women, minorities, and most thinking Republicans.

The only thing that would make the democrats happier is if he runs Third party!

Cats hang around other cats.

Rich New Yorkers hang around rich New Yorkers.

I don't find their friendship and business relationship odd at all.

If it's Trump or Hillary, I'm taking Trump and not looking back.

In general, as much as I have some issues with Trump, his willingness to just speak his mind and not hold back is refreshing. It's lit a fire under politics. It's quite different than all the others just looking to toe the partly line and not ruffle feathers. Then again, most politicians can't speak freely as they've been paid off and their opinions are essentially just spewing what the special interests want.

BTW, has anyone actually watched Megyn Kelly? She's horrible at her job. Full of bias as is most of Fox News. It's amusing to see Fox News attacked regularly around here than have some suddenly come to Kelly's defense because she's a woman. Because she has boobs doesn't give her special entitlement. And Ron Paul fans remember Megyn heavily biased interviews against him as one example? She likes to stir stuff up. Did the same at the debate.

All this seems to be due to our overly PC and feministic culture. Trump regularly lays into men as well but that hardly causes anyone to blink. Women need extra protection? Please, I've been told regularly they're equal to men. Let Megyn defend herself and move on.

As for Donald, keep speaking your mind and offering honesty, so rare in politics.

Isn't that what he's doing? Or at least what he thinks you want to hear...

You are backing the Socialist.

Over the past 40 years or so, the wealth of this country has been redistributed to the very wealthy in the form of tax loopholes, small increases in the working man's wages (while CEOs' wages have increased hundredfold), basically corporate welfare. The top 1% OWN the country because the elections are bought and paid for. We have become an oligarchy and that needs to change so that the people, not the corporations and international interests, run the country, as it was meant to be.

There may be many similarities between socialism and democratic socialism, but there's one important difference that some may not be aware of...

...Democratic socialism believes in a socialism through the ballot box. It states that any change in government and society should be through fair elections.
Source

The PEOPLE make the changes, not the MONEY. So, if you think what you said is an insult, I certainly don't take it that way. I'm proud to want this country to become a Democratic Republic again.

So, if you don't mind. I prefer to let Trump talk about his ideas.

That was my question... Who is not "letting the man speak"? Everyone is letting him talk.

I don't care for anybody's perceptions of his ideas.

Well, don't listen to them. But people (like me and others) aren't going to just stop talking about him so you feel more comfortable. You're free to say how he's going to improve this country and we're free to criticize him or his ideas.

In context it does compute, Kelly asked a cheap shot question by not mentioning O'Donnell's on air attack of Trump. Twisting the apprentice comment and implying Trump is misogist.

She knew darn well exactly what audience sympathy it would draw pretty much damning any response Trump gave. It was an offensive question disigned beforehad.

I call it hypocritical for her to sit there with false premise and act offended when she previously put herself publicly before one of societies biggest offenders of women without one complaint just to get her own publicity - I have a word for that rhymes with bore.

So, just how the hell are we going to break up this rigged system ?

You choose Bernie. No insult, I would fight for his right to speak.

You are damn sure smart enough to see what they are doing to Trump.

This thing is Clinton vs. Bush and we both know it.

You see Bernie tearing things up on your side of the fence.

I see Trump doing the same thing on mine.

If we are to break up this little Cabal. Trump is the perfect guy.

Then what's wrong with a flat of fair tax system that gets rid of the exemptions used by the so called rich people.

No need for socialism or is that you want to go further and take back that which you perceive as yours?

Robinhoodism?

I'll stick with constitution and republic as the ideal, thank you.
