Chicago company monitors bathroom breaks: more than 6 minutes a day and you're penalized

I work for a UK call center. I work an 8.75 hour day, of which 7.75 hours are on the phones. I'm allowed only 1% 'personal time' which amounts to 4.65 minutes a day. Any more and I have to explain why I took so long.

I would give a kidney for 6 minutes!

a reply to: amazing Exactly, i've only been employed once in a company, and then I started my own company, and still work with the old company I used to be employed at, only it's on my own rules. Best decision I ever made, and my old boss is now my employee :-), but i'm fair with him, unlike he was with me.
