Why don't the democrats debate?

Because a lot of people on the Left look for substance and voting records, rather than a dog and pony show where the candidates puff out their chest and lie to each other to show the audience who's man enough to lead the nation.

Boy then what happenned with Obama? hes all flash no substance too apparently

What can I say? The Democrats were swindled.

You have the self serving politicians and their cronies , and then you have everyone else in the country.

Anyone that identifies me or someone else with either politicians team, it goes in one ear and out the other because they are attacking a straw man that does not exist.

Politicians want you to side with them, to back them up, as if they represent you while they work for their puppet masters that bank rolled them into power

The Democrats will probably debate as well later in the year.

Bernie Sanders is the only decent candidate on both sides.

He’s the only one talking about the main issue which the others don’t even talk about because it’s against their corporate master’s wishes.

Trump gives lip service to it but doesn’t tell the truth how the only way to solve the issue is through radical reform of trade and corporate policies.

The American people are being swindled big time

We’ve reached a glass ceiling of economic growth

...and NOTHING these clowns say their going to do will change anything for the better

Why do you think the wages haven’t gone up the last 30 years?

Why do you think there is no more manufacturing?

Why do you think there are no more good paying middle class jobs anymore?

Why is the trade deficit sky high?

Do the very stupid American people have any idea why all the jobs have been shipped overseas and who DO THEY THINK LET THEM DO IT?

The same lying politicians they are going to vote in office again and again and again and again and again and again

Wake up

The "Debators" had to answer questions given to them (which admittedly most were asinine). I don't understand his beef with the debators.

Sanders is pro global warming, pro Dept of Education (a WMD if I ever seen one), opposes the XL Pipeline, and is an open socialist.... And this is just based off things in the OP's article.

This guy is a hazard. He's too senile and ugly to be POTUS. Sorry, Dems really don't have anything good to offer this time.

Answering questions is not "debating".

I keep saying this...we haven't seen a "real" debate between political opponents in years...

It's just a questions and answer session, a promotional gig to show themselves off and bash their competition. It's not a "debate" -- I wish we would stop calling it a debate.

“They want to give more tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires at a time when the rich are getting much richer,” Sanders said.

News flash Bernie: In the last 4-5 years, the wealthiest 2-3 percent have gotten richer than any previous time.
Any time in the history of America.
With a democrat in the white house.

News flash bernie: repeat what bernie said.

In your face bernie!

I'll agree with that. Hence I put it in quotations. The forum was ridiculous and brought up little substance. The moderators were complete twats.

The only moment of "debate" was between Christie and Rand Paul - for like 30 seconds. And then the moderators stopped it.

I don't believe that Marge. Don't give up and don't stop talking. When they kick us into silent corners, then governments and their owners win. I really believe the most powerful tool we have are "ideas", the spark for revolution.

Because there are two candidates, but neither one is electable.

If everyone feels this way, why not do something about it? Sounds like our taxation without representation moment, but our generation is all "woe is me, what can we do?"
