Something stinks to high heavens, me thinks. Can this be right. Unauthorized/Illegal immigrants work at detentions centers at $1.00-$3.00 an hour.... voluntarily.
So if they aren't suppose to be working in the is Country, why are they? The Koch Brothers are salivating and thinking "give it time, give it time"

"It's ironic - it's illegal for them to work, but they're working for the immigration service in a sense," said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a conservative think tank in Washington.

If only there was some law to keep people from illegally entering this country....

Wait... American citizens in prison earn .23 cents to $1.15 an hour.

can I renounce my citizenship now?

Actually I just don't give a crap,
Mexican cops and prisons are known for treating people with kid gloves.
When they fix that problem I'll think about this one.

im not against immigrants, im against mass migrations of people who do not try to become legal, but demand all the rights of citizens.
or..are given all the rights of citizens.

I'm cool with legal immigration. But I hate being held to standards that no other country is being judged by. That gives me little sympathy for this type of thing.

Exactly! Illegal immigration has been a huge problem on so many levels for so many years. Must be nice to pick and choose which laws we can follow.

this country was founded on strong state gov, and laws, to counter an abusive fed gov.
things have sure gone south so to speak.

But you understand that "the law" states that if you are fleeing a South American country and are fearful to return, you get an immigration hearing. And there are thousands of people waiting for those hearings, caged in small chain link cells, and a handful of available immigration judges and attorneys to handle the workload. So...
