Rand Paul did a good job sticking with the questions asked. He also didn't make any nutty statements like his dad does every time he's behind a microphone.

Well it was that comment about bio-metric tagging of folks who come to the US
Dont get me wrong I am not about being soft on illegal immigration at all.

I mean if you pull someone over and you find out they ain't suppose to be here then yea send them back home, no questions asked but to bio metrically tag them as people come in?

Naw that's crazy talk.
LOL That's way to much like treating people like cattle or something.

Rubio is interesting. He reminds me of a rookie who doesn't yet know how to play the game. Actually, that's kind of refreshing. Unfortunately, he'll surely learn to be the same as the majority of politicians.

He did not show up. He said he did not want to attend or something.

He's holding a grudge against the main sponsor because of a comment they published about him.

Gotcha thanks. I just started watching and already feeling tipsy from the drinking keywords:

Obamacare: 2 shots
Socialism: 3 shots
America: 2 shots
Terrorism: 1 shot

I kinda liked the "forum" format. All candidates got equal airtime at least. My opinion on the debate (err forum) is a little biased, but I do think Rand did well, they didn't give him stupid questions like they always did to his father at least. I think Bobby Jindal had some decent answers too. The rest seem like they want to start WWIII or something.

Graham DESPERATELY wants to blow some stuff up.

Of course McCain vouches for him... he's another hardcore warmonger.

I wonder how much money those two are getting paid by the military industrial complex.

Carly Fiorina has not gotten enough media coverage, imo. She is heads above most of these guys and I have no doubt she would get the job done. I like her poise and statesmanship demeanor.

Edited to add: I still say I would pay Big Bucks to watch a one-on-one debate with Hillary Clinton!

Well she's doing well in this forum. Now is the time when people will get to know the previously unknown candidates.

The "rankings" of the candidates will change a lot over the next few months as the primary debates reveal more about their character.

So, which stuffed-shirt won?

Was blood spilt?

Were there car chases, ninjas, gratuitous nudity and swear words?

Did one candidate rise above the others by eating the heart of his opponent and laugh while taking the nearest wench to slake his lust for life?

To be fair to the three senators, it's hard to appear animated when you are likely talking to a blank wall somewhere.

I'm not sure anyone "won" per se, but I came out with favorable impressions of Walker, Fiorina, and Jindal. Walker wasn't afraid to talk turkey on big entitlement reform. Fiorina just sounded like she could talk get s*** done, and Jindal also pitched some ideas. The others more or less all went political rah-rah with very little meat. Oh, and Rubio wanted to do biometrics at the border which is a bit ... eh, creepy.
