The tram which is one of the few surviving from the day the bomb struck has been restored to its former glory to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the attack , it has video testimony from survivors on board and is painted in the original colour scheme of the day.

The thing I find most staggering , apart from the people surviving in the bank , is they got the trams back up and running just 3 days after being Nuked !
Hopefully the anniversary will focus a few minds.

I remember an episode of antiques roadshow. A bloke had a china bowl that was deformed and melted out of shape. It came from Hiroshima. The temperatures involved to melf that bowl must of been stagering. And to think what the people and how they died must of been horrific.

Indeed. Every time I think of the bombs, a piece of me dies.
