Looks like some Democrats want a Corporate Candidate to fight off both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

Somebody is touting the CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz.

This could be a "wake up" call designed to decaffeinate Hillary !!!

^^^ all my opinion.

Here's the article... The "target" is Hillary.

Starbucks' Howard Schultz Urged to Challenge Hillary

Howard Schultz, the chairman and CEO of Starbucks, is being urged to challenge Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Schultz, 62, is getting encouragement from supporters because they believe "the time is right for someone who's not a political lifer," New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd said on Saturday. "It may be a tempting proposition."

Raised in low-income housing in Brooklyn, Schultz later graduated from Northern Michigan University. He bought Starbucks in 1988 and built the company to where its operating income totaled $939 million in its most recent quarter, on $4.9 billion in sales.

Who is a "Person" ?

IMO any CEO for a company as large as Starbucks for example isn't going to be any better than some established politician.

Might be worse actually. If you've never been in the game, how can you know how to navigate it?

You're going to end up having other people do 99% of the work.

IMO.

I agree.

Most politicians rely heavily on their advisory staffs.

The danger is the possibility of "agent infiltrators".

Just because someone knows how to run a business, does not mean they can effectively run a country.

The US government is not a for-profit venture.

For whatever it's worth, my state once elected a Governor who was a 'good ole boy' successful business man who knew nothing about politics. It was a nightmare. I think they let him run his term out; but we were happy to see him go. You need to have some political savvy to begin to know what's what in that environment.

That makes Trump the perfect candidate.

Why you ask?

Because he knows from experience how to effectively manage a bankruptcy !!

I thought everyone most were all for the government creating jobs?

What is the difference between Schultz and Clinton Inc?

In fact, maybe the "Clinton Crime" family revenue exceeds that Starbucks?

At least Starbucks employes regular folks, unlike The Clinton Foundation,
which is all about trading donations dirty money for Washington favors.
And, Schultz is not a "lifer" politician like Clinton, He has actually made a company profitable!

What this tells me is that even the left is afraid of the electibility of Hillary.

I guess they're out of hope and spare change.

What is it with these idiots that think the office of president is a good place to get your feet wet in politics. What qualifies him to be president? He used to own a basketball team and sells coffee that makes him perfect for the office.

Judging by our massive budget deficit, I would say you are correct.

I know. We need people that have been lying to us for decades to be president.

Not someone who just started out lying to us!
