If nothing else, I hope someone finds some new reading material here. A lot of these above are obscure titles. Some are well known however.

What about God's of eden? Or chariots of the gods?

Did you not include those because your topic was specifically UFO and not "alien", if so, I get that. Otherwise, these are good additions.

Jacques Vallée wrote some books... Just saying.

I'd add: The UFO Experience by J. Allen Hynek; The Missing Times by Terry Hanson; and Clear Intent by Larry Fawcett et al (I think that's right).

Also anything by Jacques Vallee.

Clear Intent was later reprinted as the #1 book on my list above

Those are two classic books there. I enjoyed them both immensely.

I really liked "Left at East gate". I read it a couple of times.

Well my top five differ a bit:

1) Ufos Psychic Close Encounters: The Electromagnetic Indictment
-Albert Budden

If you don't read this one, you may not even have a book about
the UFO Phenomenon on your list at all.

2) Messengers of Deception
- Jacques Vallee

3) Mirage Men: An Adventure into Paranoia, Espionage, Psychological Warfare, and UFOs
-Mark Plinkton

4) ENCOUNTERS WITH STAR PEOPLE: Untold Stories of American Indians
-Ardy Clarke (emailed her.. nice Lady)

5) Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation
-David Marler (emailed him.. good book)

I'd like to make an additional suggestion:

"The Dark Gods" this is an excellent and little known book.

Awesome list, I have all of these too. Mirage Men is excellent. I think Triangular UFOs will be a classic in another decade or so.

Nice! I love obscure books on this topic! May have to check this one out

A lot of the books that I listed need to be reprinted badly so that a broader audience can read them. The listing prices for some of them in extreme used condition is outrageous.

I would add Lou Baldin's books to the list, they're right up front and close.

I'm going to be reading Sherry Wilde's soon as well. Really good account, always look for the signatures of those like mine.

I don't buy into any bias of any researcher, run more with experiences and personal memories.

a reply to: Bloodydagger

I'm pretty spoiled, all my Vallee books are autographed.

I agree on the triangular UFO book..it's an important book,
as it demonstrates that 'triangular ufos' have been with us
a very long time, thus minimizing the excessive nonsense
about black project aircraft (IMHO).

Excellent list there. I love all of Gray Barkers work too. I have a lot of his old Saucerian work.
