I just filtered tangy tangerine and nascent iodine through a berkey and ate the residue with a colloidal silver coated spork all washed down with a one world whey shake in my $20 inforwars novelty cup while wearing my tyranny response team t shirt and molon labe belt buckle...and I feel perfectly sane.

I'm now ready to kill me some satanic mooslams, trendy librools and border jumpers. To the bunkers patriots!

Look, we're more progressive than 20 years ago -- and in 1995 we were more progressive than 1975.

Humanity always moves in a more progressive direction over time -- it's part of our evolution. We will look back 30 years from now and think we were pretty conservative.

Until it involves the police/military or other federally funded things that conservatives stand behind.

But who cares about those people and their families.

Oh I'm not going to worry about anyone anymore.

Your progressive government will take care of them.

No, liberalism is the next stage of human evolution. We don't live in caves, fending off scary predators with sharp pointy sticks. We also produce a surplus of food and supplies, so we don't need to horde them for ourselves and our family units.

Do be fair I dont see conservatives living in caves either, and a good portion of those farmers providing those surplus of foods are conservatives.....
sooo......

How bout we stop with the partisan BS

It's not the IMF... Why are you asking people to look at Greece when you apparently don't know much about it?

Isn't that the way it's supposed to be? Moving forward. Progressing.

Forget the logic Mystik...

I'd advise we let them regress towards wiping their arses on grass and leaves again.
Like the good old days before progressives.

It won't be long before they're eating raw fish they've speared downstream without a fire and having bugs and snails for desert.

Progressives bad...

Smash woman with rock...

Ugggg...

Given the advances in medicine and transhumanism you'll be just a whippersnapper in 30years.

hmmm, a couple points there.

First, the qualifications for progression are subjective, yet often married to liberal policies. This in and of itself seems to show a manipulative tactic from the left, whereby language is warped to suit political ends.

Second, if we take a longer view, it seems there is a cyclical nature to our species cultural evolution, but each new spin manifesting in different circumstances, a different terrain.

You can see this in general in the US with a shift from the left to right every 8-12 years and back, but in a more macroscopic way as the stages of an empire, or social structure. There is an initial agreement on values, from which to conserve over time, else deviate "progress" towards. The perception of these values, and meaning of tradition can change, but still a chunk of us are seemingly predispositioned towards honoring these traditions. A chunk see it as "progressive" to experiment with new ideas.

I don't think either which way is correct, rather it takes all kinds, and would agree in a sense that nothing stays the same, but disagree in that any which political grouping is ultimately about pushing their own values on the rest. This has little to do with "progress" in any which party, rather of ongoing results in tension between each.

Until the SHTF and we regress back to barbaric feudalism.

But yes, societies tend to progressively advance (hence progressive) until someone comes along to either impede or reverse the course.

So when you want no government you're a level headed Conservative. But when I want a gradual whittling away it's horrible progressive utopia!?

It was insulting to think I'd be alive in this progressive socialist liberal utopia.
