Einstein's definition of insanity was repeating the same actions expecting different results.

Using Chicago as an example: the liberal gun control lobby has, for decades, been running an anti-gun agenda. Mayor Daley got his signature legislation passed making Chicago what he called a "gun free zone". Law after law is passed year after year in an effort to control violence and each and every one of them fails. The only thing liberal government in Chicago has managed to do is disarm the innocent. And we saw the end result of that failed policy. And we see it every time another of the same kind of laws is passed. Every single time. You will never take guns out of criminals hands by passing legislation that only law abiding citizens, by definition, will obey. Yet the liberal lobby continues its same agenda year after year after year apparently believing that one more law will finally solve the problem. Even if its already illegal twenty different ways, the liberals will try for twenty-one because twenty didn't work.

That IS insanity.

Of course you are.

And I just asked what you were basing it on.

Does that offend you when I do that?

Progressives don't offend me.

If I want to espouse why progressive, liberal policies are to blame, I'll start a thread.

Balances no longer exist in the states.

It's "Our way or the highway" mentality.

It was typified by Obama when he said, "Get over it, we won".

I'd say it was typified when Bush said "you're with us, or you're with the terrorists"...

Stupid libtard he was as well.

There is a strange logic at work in that policy, can't say I agree with it but it's not entirely stupid.

It's certainly more intelligent than Cameron's Mars attacks esque "we are your friends" crap while he continues to bomb their people at the behest of giant corporations.

Ok, since Sweeden has a bad idea it must mean that being a liberal is a mental disorder.
Got it.

Would you like to borrow my 'sarcasm' flag???

Please reread your response and try to make sense of it. Good luck.

No, Ann Coulter (or should I say, Jamie1), it's not a disease in and of itself, but as with any ideology some who self-identify as liberals can take things a bit far at times.

I'm all for gradually heading that direction (Anarchist you know... far left). Having a double temper tantrum and abruptly shutting the government down? Dangerous.

No, liberalism is the next stage of human evolution. We don't live in caves, fending off scary predators with sharp pointy sticks. We also produce a surplus of food and supplies, so we don't need to horde them for ourselves and our family units.

America is about 50-100 years behind where Europe is now.

Any ism is a mental disorder.
Any political party or religion ( not beliefs in higher power or being spiritual) but organized religion. Whatever happened to being good hearted individuals that naturally uplifts an entire group. That only resorts to any form of violence as a last resort? So yes liberalism along with every other ism also political parties and organized religion are all mental disorders.

Until it involves the police/military or other federally funded things that conservatives stand behind.

But who cares about those people and their families.

You'll get your wish. I'm not arguing whether it'll happen or not.

You'll get your progressive utopia.
