If this heat wave, and now meteors falling and such happened a thousand years ago it would have been documented as the end times or something.

First 160F and now meteors.

What are the odds that a piece of turf so small can be the recipient of 2 such events in as many days?

My spidey senses are tingling.

When have reporters done any kind of due diligence anymore, no matter where they are?

O noes...... Megatron landed in Iran?!?!?! Gonna be a rocky rest of the year!

Is this becoming more common or is it just with the Internet/cameras we hear about it more? I feel like I never heard of this and now a few at least have made some big booms.

yep. it's so irritating how often that happens with meteor stories, you see the pic and immediately know you've seen it before and it's not the one in question. bah!

Was waiting for someone to pick up on this. It wasn't just one meteorite. Happened a couple days ago.. it's brightness in magnitude was equal to the Russian meteorite ( a superbolide ). All while Iran just hit 165° yes Fahrenheit in heat records...

I usually don't buy the whole BPEarthwatch guy on YouTube. But he did a blog/Vlog on it..

Funny thing.. poster's were saying it was a pre strike by Israel. Non the less I sat and waited for Iran to confirm this. It was stated in a separate news article that it did some percussive damage. A couple broken windows. No one as far as of yet has footage of the meteorites.

Here's a report from Iranian TV. (sowwy it's on Farsi)

No EMP's, no tactical nukes, no nothing.

It's a rock

Amy Meinzer, that hot scientist chick who's job is to chase asteroids, didn't see this one coming.

I don't comprehend a single syllable from that ..

I hope its post meteorite evidence. But like I said. No video exist as of yet of the rock striking down. And believe me I'm salivating for a glimpse of it.
