Interesting to see the Uk being back in the game with aircraft technology.Just hoping politics doesnt get back in the equation like it did in the 60,s which killed most of its manufacturing base.With the sucess of the TARANIS UCAV I can see the maturing of a viable path for the British aerospace industry.

Personally I think BAE have the best defence engineers on the planet but I may be a little biased.

I don't think the UK ever left the game when it comes to aviation tech. There is a strong symbiosis, more than most people think, between UK tech companies and anything involving front line aviation.

I agree with you that the best defense engineers on the planet have worked for BAE Advanced at some point.
