When a police officer ordered a female passenger to exit a vehicle following an arrest, she tried to to inform a police officer of her status as a “free inhabitant.” The woman apparently believed that she was not required to follow U.S. laws because she doesn’t identify as an American citizen — and it didn’t go over well.

A YouTube video, which was seemingly first uploaded in 2013 but was going viral on Wednesday, claims to shows how the defiant woman ended up in handcuffs and alleging “rape” after she refused to comply with the officer’s orders.

www.theblaze.com... er/
Article 4 free inhabitant cant be arrested, or can they?

what an idiot... you can also find some great instances of not-very-intelligent people arguing with cops when they ask to show ID on Youtube, saying things like "Am I being detained" over and over again, while refusing to show ID and then it builds to the point where they ARE being detained.

There are not-so-smart civilians and the same goes for LEOs. But social media sure does sensationalize a lot of it...

Always entertaining when somebody knows juuuuust enough about something to think they're an expert, only to find their proverbial ass handed to them.

Hey, surprised you all made it through that audio with her god awful, know it all, voice.

What'd she do read some crap on the internet and think she's ready for the real world encounter?

To be honest she sounds a lot like my ex wife, so it didn't even register with me. Built in immunity.

And yes, that is precisely what sovereign citizens do.

Free inhabitant? Yeah, no. That deputy remained extremely patient and professional, though. Kudos to him.

A "free inhabitant" is a free person meaning not a slave.

More on the :Articles of Confederation, art. 4

Well, good luck with that doesn't stand for Sovereign Citizens either.

they should start a kickstarter fund to send this cop on a well deserved two week vacation somewhere tropical for having the patience and professionalism to put up with that kid.

even the boyfriend was like I have no idea what the hell she's talking about.

best line is the last few seconds of video:
cop- "does she use drugs?"

shamrock I prey you never have to deal with one like her while on patrol. nobody should have to experience that.

I wanted to punch myself in the face listening to her voice. I know the driver was glad he got arrested just to give his ears a break.

Free inhabitants lol what a crock of #. we haven't been free since 1776.

so by your reasoning..... (which i can't argue with, by the way.)

Article 4 free inhabitant cant be arrested, or can they?

since they were arrested.......you said,

Appears they can be!

therefore, if this is logical, then all reasoning in that manner is logical.

if she had pulled out a gun and stopped this "LEO", i guess i would be entitled (by your so called logic, at least) to say that

Appears they can't be!

you thinly veil your contempt for entities not under statist domination.

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

here's how I see it. the articles 4 free inhabitant thing was from before the constitution and only applied to the original 13 states. it became null when the constitution was signed.

since California was never ever a part of those original 13 colonies the nearly 300 year null article 4 thing never even applied to Californians not even back then.
