Why are women allowed to murder babies? If a man made the decision for her he would go to prison for murdering an unborn child.

The fetus may be inside a woman's body but has its own life and body.

All in all who am I to judge whether any of this is morally acceptable. Let those involved deal with the moral issues.

Are they babies or lumps of cells? Is there proof that there is electrical activity in the brain at the time of EVERY abortion? Majority of abortions are NOT late-term.

If there is no electrical activity in the brain, no one's home. There's no "soul" inside.

How is this any different than unplugging a brain dead person on a ventilator? There's no brain activity there, there's "no one home" upstairs.

People who are anti-abortion don't seem to have a problem signing DNR (do not resuscitate) living wills. If like is precious, why not keep these people alive forever, taking up bed space in hospitals and costing families fortunes?

I'm simply trying to point out the hypocrisy.

If giving a referral is the same as providing mammograms.

Perhaps you don't understand the mechanics of insurance and medical bureaucracy. One MUST be referred in order to get a mammogram. You can't just walk in anywhere and get a mammogram. My doctor's office doesn't do mammograms either. They send us out to get it done.

However, PP does have programs in place for women in need, who don't have insurance, that provides payment for their mammograms.

Many people spoke at KKK rallies and it is not indicative of a racist agenda.

Many people fought under the Confederate flag.... 160 years ago.
KKK still exists.
Yet you say it is not indicative of a racist agenda.
I am shaking my head.

Talking about selling baby body parts a la carte.

In what context is that okay?

That post makes no sense whatsoever.

Not to the person that claims that KKK affiliations are not indicative of racism.

I don't have a problem with abortion, or them getting reimbursed for providing the tissue needed for stem cell research.

I think what people are trying to point out is that they are talking about making more money selling them in certain ways. Even if they aren't profiting directly from it, that still isn't okay. Although to be honest, would you be surprised if they were profiting from it? I wouldn't...people are evil and corrupt.

You believe dark skin is a debilitating genetic trait? Ok...

Anyway, she felt the same way about all people. Her thought was to create "perfect people" through sterilization of ALL people, regardless of color, that posed a potential threat to that perfect human ideal.

Race is much less of a factor that you believe.

I am part black and part American Indian.
I didn't see the word debilitating when I read your post. I see that you did an edit.
Now, seeing that Sanger played sweeties with the KKK.... maybe she saw blacks as having a debilitating genetic trait.

I'd have been sterilised as well buddy. Schizophrenia.

But I'm still trying to work out what genetic trait is carried by indigents.

That is a very emotionally triggering subject. I personally would prefer if material for scientific research were not monetized at all, but our currently unregulated "free market" dictates such things. In my experience having that conversation becomes as, or more, polarized than having this one.

She was a eugenicist.
She wanted anyone that didn't fit her world-view to be sterilized. That's were indigents fit in.

Or to anyone with a decent level of ability to formulate coherent arguments. They must be racist as well.

Still stuck on the civil war reference.

Maybe it will come to you.

Do you see anything at all wrong with this scenario?

There's an optional consent form that women can sign,
or not, to donate her aborted results to science.

By aborted results you mean 2 human kidney's, 2 human lungs,
one human liver, one human spleen, 2 human eyes, etc? That
is how they are listed on the order forms for the "donors" to
pay for.

Optional? I wonder how many women are really given the option
if there are pending orders for
kidneys, hearts, lungs, livers, spleens, eyes, ears, etc.
Yes the order forms are that specific.

Should not the woman sign a consent form
saying something like: I donate one liver and one spleen
for medical research? Should not the consent form
be specific?

After all it IS her body, should she not have full
control over her body and her body "tissue" and
be fully informed as to what will be done
with the "tissue" and which human organs she
will be donating to science that once belonged
to her?

I'll bend to that point... provided we apply it equally. So... are Conservatives prepared to stop citing Ayn Rand as an influence do to the fact that she idolized a serial killer?

I mean admiring the cold and calloused ability of a serial killer, and basing archetypes upon him should render her works totally off limits to being cited as politically influencing materials. Right?
