Well, that could be confusing.
But what it gets down to is whether or not it is the nature of periodic motions (like orbits and spirographs) to produce interesting (and sometimes beautiful) patterns has something to do with the (alleged) binary nature of the Universe.

A point which has been raised is that sunsets (which demonstrate no particular "order") can be perceived as just as beautiful as ordered patterns, making it a purely subjective call.

This is just another tiny part of the gigantic tapestry of
this existence we share. Science will say this is just nature.
Then observe that the nature of the elements, wind, water,
fire, never create anything but chaotic fields of debree.
God is so bitchen.

Snf for a wonderful thread.

Can these images be used to explain the relationship between earth and Mars?

Or should I say the influence of Mars over earth?

God is so bitchen.

Correction, the word is bitchin'. I've been using it since I was knee high to a grasshopper, growing up with surfin'.
I would substitute "the world" for God. But that's optional.

Aha! Now I think I understand. Yes, indeed, I believe your point is that it is all subjective based on individuals' perceptions not a necessarily designed correspondence. Sort of all in the eye in the beholder kind of thing. Thank you.

-You always can draw a line with between two points.
-Planet goes around circle or ellipse and the keep the same pace (approx), so they have a period.
-If you find a function that fits the both function, you find an harmonic, that is the fondamental frequents for both function.
-If you use that harmonic to plot you're things, surprise!

Using 69.559 has fundamental frequency for earth-venus system:

Using 51 525.00 (Approx) has fundamental frequency for mars-venus system:

You see? Same thing (mars-venus just as fewer dots)!
He just wasn't clever enough to understand math behind that.

Who? The programmer of the algorithm to draw the thing? I think that was sort of the point.

My bad, I wasn't the one clever enough to figure how my code worked!
The graph for mars-venus was right...
I forgot to change earth for mars in my code...

The right picture...
