Well Dear The Vagabond,

The claim that Tecumseh or Tippecanoe curse is definitively over , after the death of JFK 52 yrs ago, that is already vanished is highly controversial in the best of the possibilities, since anyway Ronald Reagan was shot in the chest, on March of 1981, and one of his Secretaries received in the head the second bullet, also he faced the Iran-contras scandal in his second term and ended it with beginnings of Alzheimer.

Now, the same can be said in between 1998 to 2001 in which we saw Bill Clinton impeached, although he was able to retain the power, that is more that what Al Gore can say, being elected by the popular vote although prevented to rule not by G.W.Bush, but by the supreme Court, and well we know Bush anyway will be forever in History remembered as the President of the first Terrorist attack in USA soil and the Great Recession.

Thanks for your comments,

The Angel of Lightness

I appreciate the point about Reagan being shot but frankly the impeachment angle seems to be a great reach. If you expand the parameters enough there is a curse of the president being slightly endangered every day.

I think exactly what makes a prophecy or curse so noteworthy is that it would be too specific to be coincidence. If the curse says death, being shot or impeached isn't enough.

The fact is that every 20 years we elected a doomed man, like clockwork, but for 55 years now every one of them has lived and one of the ones who should have died actually set a longevity record.

I feel like the office of president may not truly exist- the last president killed was followed by two who abandoned the office voluntarily, then one who was never elected, a dark horse who just sort of kept the chair warm, and then the survivor is an actor and public relations shill. It's as if people who would actually rule stopped seeking the presidency and made it a public relations office, and the office no longer warranted supernatural wrath.
