Sick of hearing sirens and traffic noises on the radio. Stop it!

Driving down the street, and hear a siren. Look around, nothing. Where is it?

It's on the damn radio, during a commercial where it isn't even in context.

How is this legal? Or at least a bit irresponsible.

Same with some kind of car noise, you have to guess, was it a commercial, or is something wrong with my car?

Just ban it already!

One Mic by Nas does this to me every time. It wasn't as surprising when the song first came out. Now, I'm damn near terrified for a moment!

my favorite station keeps playing loud honking horns and sounds of car wrecks before they do the traffic report and it pisses me off to no effing end. I literally want to drive to the station and knock heads in every time it happens. I actually stopped in the middle of an intersection once because I thought someone was honking at me- then I wasn't sure if the light was really green or not, and then I almost caused a REAL accident.

That is so distracting and it should be illegal to play sudden loud noises related to accidents or emergency services.

Thank you!!! I see you are in Cincinatti. Here in Colorado Springs ALL 3 of the major radio stations play this exact thing you are talking about. They play it for damn near 3 minutes before and after the traffic talk begins. It is abhorrent.
